"Fast, friendly service. Nice generic atmosphere, clean. The good...chips and salsa on the table right away and generous portions, and the lettuce and tomato fresh, not soggy. But... the food was very bland. I don't care for spice, but a little flavor would have been good."

"Dang I've been working in Roanoke and I've ate here twice. First day I got my order and food. At least had server come back once. Today they never came back, and I had to get up, walk to the front, and get my own drink. I sat 29 mins after eating and finally someone came to clean off table. They took my money, bill was $13 and change, i gave a $20. I had to ask where my change was. Lol no you're not getting a $7 tip. You earn tips. This was pathetic. I've waited tables and been a bar tender. I always tip, even for bad service. However aside cooking my own food, I waited on myself. Lol. I just couldn't. I definitely will not be back."

"Chips and salsa are always fabulous. The salsa has a good and spicy kick to it. The food portions are huge. I ate about 3/4 and took the rest home. The food itself is fabulous. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great."

"We enjoyed eating here for the first time. The "El Rod's" restaurants in Blacksburg are very popular. The staff here were very kind and attentive. The food was great- the salsa, margarita and all of it. The tilapia was very well flavored. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The steak, chicken and shrimp nachos were enjoyed. The taco and enchilada were great. The restaurant was very clean. A family member brought us here and only made brief, confidential mention of my daughter's birthday and they came out to sing and celebrate! It was so nice and so much fun! Thank you for such a great experience!"

"Haven't been here for a few years, so we went today for the lunch buffet. IT WAS EXCELLENT!! Love their Chicken dishes, from Taquitos to Fajitas, the spice was just right, it is comfortable here, and everyone is friendly. It is also VERY CLEAN which is appreciated, including the restroom."
