"An AMAZING store. Not only do they sell high-quality bike supplies, but they serve delicious food in their cafe. You would never expect food in a bicycle shop to be so good, but it is! The food is top-notch, healthy, and super tasty. The employees are very friendly and helpful, too. If you haven’t tried the food from Cardinal before, head over, try it, and realize what you’ve been missing out on! This is Roanoke’s hidden gem!"

"Got the breakfast rice bowl. Filling and substantial in a nourishing way. My toddler ate the heck out of the hummus and my husband quite enjoyed his salmon bowl. Husband, who is a craft beer snob, also seemed surprised and mildly impressed with the offerings though did not imbibe today. Think it's a great offering and really creates community by taping into the biking interest that is already present in our area. Not into biking myself but could see the allure."

"Had a great bike fit yesterday at Cardinal Bicycle by Karen Talley Mead! I had never had a fitting with either Retül or Karen, and I was extremely interested in the entire experiment. I've done old-school, in-person bike fittings for well over a decade, and I've even explored online options with fitters out of state. Of particular interest for me is how each fitter gets to know your own unique physiology (leg-length discrepencies, hip angle, etc.), and the Retül system has a fairly comprehensive get-to-know-you session before attaching any of the sensors. VERY comprehensive, and at the end, I felt extremely confident in the small adjustments that were made and how well Karen got to know all my unique bodily foibles. If you're in the area--recommended!"
