Crozet Pizza

"We checked out Crozet pizza while we were in town visiting some friends. Our visit occurred on a weekend evening and the establishment was moderately busy. On this visit we ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and an order of wings. Being from New York we went in skeptical about the quality of the pizza. Considering Crozet is is quite the distance from NY, I would consider the pizza quite decent. The wings were also tasty, and we received them hot and crispy."

"Acclaimed pizza place in Crozet, VA. Known for their brick oven style pizza. Try "capone" with red sauce. Made with mozzarella and fresh basil. I'm Originally from NJ and good pizza is hard to come by in Virginia. This was as close to NY/NJ style brick oven pizza as I've had so far. Would come back. Would recommend"

"Decided to stop here while for lunch on Sunday, and the place lived up to the hype. Everyone was super nice. It's a good cross between a sports bar and pizza joint. Was a good atmosphere. Ordered the loaded fries and the Southern Pizza. Well, the fries were truly loaded with thick cut bacon that had a really good flavor. Plenty for a whole table of people. The pizza arrived shortly after, and it was simply delicious. The red onion was truly fresh with good flavor, and there was no lack of chicken and bacon on it. The small pizza can feed 2 people, and if you're worried at the fries and you'll go home with food like I did. It's definitely worth the stop in to have a bite to eat."

"I grew up about 15 minutes from Crozet Pizza, so I've eaten here for more than 40 years. It amazes me the place has been around so long. This was my first visit in about 10 years, and the business has recently changed hands. I found the pizza still met my expectations, though I could taste a slight difference. The interior and service are quite different with a full bar, a take out register and a small stage for live music. I miss all the old photos and post cards (this pizza has even been to space!), but the change also seemed it could be good for the place and make it last another 40 years. It's an institution in Albemarle County, and Crozet is a neat little town. It is DEFINITELY worth a visit, even if you have to make the drive from Charlottesville or drop out of the mountain passes to get there."

"Excellent pizza and service! We stopped in after going through the Blue Ridge Gunnel nearby and had this place on our must go list! It certainly didn't disappoint! My friend and I decided to sit on the patio out back to eat and it was a beautiful day! We started with the jalapeño poppers that were served with house made ranch for dipping. The poppers came out SUPER hot and for those wondering, they are deseeded before cooking so they aren't spicy at all. They were very good. Next we shared a pizza with mushrooms, banana peppers, and pepperoni. We also added fresh mozzarella to our pizza so it was extra cheesy! We never have room for dessert after pizza so not this time, and we even had pizza to bring home! A must eat if in Crozet!"
