Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"We arrived around 12:30 for lunch. We were seated immediately. I am handicapped on a scooter and our server moved chairs right away so I could pull up to the table. Our orders were taken for beverages which were brought quickly. We perused the menu and our server took our order and our food was served hot and delicious. Our server stopped by our table a few times to ask if we needed anything or refills on drinks. I am a Rewards member and was thrilled at checkout to get the price of our appetizer and one beverage removed from our bill thru our reward points. We also bought a few things from the store on sale. We enjoy Cracker Barrel and visit often."

"It's so hard to give this an accurate score. Anytime I eat here for lunch or dinner it's usually around a 3.5/5 stars. But anytime I come for breakfast it's a 0/5 or negative stars. This past time January 21st was the worst experience yet. From our horrible waitress Meredith to my undercooked chicken to my burnt French toast. I think im just gonna find somewhere else to go for breakfast but still come here for lunch/dinner."

"Ate there 12/1 about 8:30 am. Seated immediately and within couple of minutes server showed up. Maybe 20 people seated. Server took order, brought out coffee and water. Within 5 minutes I has 3 eggs over medium (warm), a table spoon of hash brown casserole(warm), steak tips (cooked perfectly), biscuits and bowl of gravy (warm) and grit SOUP (cold). The grits were so runny and cold they were inedible. How does food come out that fast and only warm or cold if it's not prepared early, not the eggs? Didn't want to send back because chef Mike (microwave) would have dried everything out. Thank God I didn't have to pay as was using gift card but all the floor manager was doing was walking around looking important; most do in food chain management. Gave server a 25% tip because she was really good, seemed frustrated with kitchen and it is coming up on holiday and pretty sure these servers make squat. Have balance on gift card, may just wait to use at different Cracker Barrel."

"Service was fast but waitress seemed a bit frenzied. Perhaps working too many sections as there were a lot of customers. Food was very tasty. We had three different chicken meals with mashed potatoes, green beans, French fries, tater tots and fried pickles with iced tea for $65. *forgot to snap picture I was so hungry* The gift shop had great bargains and lovely decorations. Snatched up an adorable battery operated gnome for $15."

"While the food was delicious our server was very lacking. Had to ask for things more than once, and she was soooooo slow. I normally don’t remark on servers unless they are awesome but I just had to say this. When I made our order, I asked for Splenda as I saw there was only 1 or 2 packets of it at the table. It took her a while to bring the teas and when she did I had to ask her for Splenda a second time. It took her another 5-10 minutes to bring that. Her section wasn’t full. It was just us and another table. when she brought the food out, she didn’t check on us again till another 10-15 minutes. I asked for bbq sauce for the chicken but by the time she brought it the chicken was eaten or else it would have cold waiting. I ordered apple butter to go with the biscuits they normally bring out but the biscuits didn’t come out till the very very end and when she brought it out, It was with bbq sauce and no apple butter. At that point I asked her for a to go box for the biscuits because we were just tired of waiting. Should’ve known better. We just decided to eat the biscuits because by the time she took to get the box we were already done eating the biscuits. Overall while the food was great, the service left a bad taste and we will not be back to this location."
