Tasty Kabob

"A lovely place to get a good portion of great food! According to the Tasty Kabob website, They “...hit the road back in the fall of 2010 when founder’s John & Steve Hanifi envisioned bringing their favorite meals from their home country of Afghanistan to the people of Washington, DC. Since then, the father and son team has expanded to a fleet of 5 Clean Green Tasty Machines.” This particular location is 1 store away from the corner of Boro Place and Westpark Drive. There is street parking or a parking lot to the west with lots of parking. The inside is set up like most restaurants where you enter in a line at one side of a counter. You choose your base, meat, sides, drinks, and desserts as you move down the line. The staff was very helpful and friendly for a newbie like me. They filled up the container. I had enough for 3 meals. There is a mix of tables spread around the eating area that is to the left as you enter. The dining area and store were clean from tables to floor. The price was reasonable at about $15 for the food and $4 for drinks. The food was excellent. I got a gyro and it had a very good taste to it. This is a good choice for a meal in the area and I liked it so much I plan to visit again and look for their other locations."

"A new late night favorite place for us. Great food. Very tasty vegetarian options. Fabulous rice. The fact that it’s open late in an area where everything closes at 10pm is a huge plus. It’s very clean. The two employees where very clean and professional looking. Only two negatives would be I wish they would not serve hot food in plastic containers. And I wish they were more generous with portions. But overall a great place and will be coming back here again and often."

"Ordered the Rice/Potatoes/Chickpeas/Lamb/Chicken plate. Service was very quick as the food is already made. The food was overall okay but did not have a lot of spice or a lot of variety in flavor. Not my favorite place but if I wanted quick middle eastern food to go then this would be the place"

"Super impressed with Tasty Kabob. Stopped in late night for a bite and they did not disappoint! Best chicken over rice ever. The chicken was super tender, moist and seasoned to perfection. Big chunks of chicken and delicious rice. The employees were friendly and the inside was extremely clean. I'll definitely be returning. The food was spectacular"
