"Very diverse menu of appealing choices. Everything we had was tasty. Portions are reasonable and fairly priced. Service was knowledgeable and helpful but not terribly attentive. Only struggle is the bar has some great choices but bartender didn't seem to make recommendations. And the bar has no buffer space to tables so not a good location for groups to gather."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a pleasant experience. The place gets very busy during lunchtime, so a bit of slow service is understandable. The food was tasty and portions are large, which compensated high prices. The menu selection is huge, so I will probably come back to try something else and may update my review."

"Very hearty and warm place to go. The food itself is not the best I’ve had but still pretty good. We had a burger, which was good, southern fried chicken, which was good too but I wish there was a special dipping sauce or gravy or something. The sweet potato side was terribly sweet with meringue on top, it was just bad. Chicken and waffles with Mac and cheese was pretty good too, but I wish the chickens were more juicy! It was a bit dry. Oh, we also had a non-alcoholic drink, I cannot rmb the name, but it was really sour and bad. I wouldn’t really get it. When you walk in, there’s a recipe book that you can read! It was very interesting and helped a lot when I was trying to decide what to order."

"This review is specifically for the Thanksgiving dinner. We loved it that the menu was extensive, lots of choices for meat option and desserts. Everything was good: the bread, the spread, the prime rib, the stuffing, the sweet potato with brown sugar topping, the mashed potato. The brussel sprouts were bland though. Also, none of the desserts were good Gabby, our waitress was friendly and always with a smile on her face. We were not happy with the hostess staff. We had reservation and yet we had to wait an hour before we were seated. They also couldn't count so we were not provided enough menu, glasses, and silverware. The turkey was just ok. If I have to do it over, I would definitely go with the prime rib. Even though the food was good, we won't come next year. There are a lot good restaurants around here."

"Portion sizes are massive. Service is a little slow when they’re very busy. Food was really solid, though if I were to compare the fried chicken to Popeye’s fried chicken, I think Popeye’s packs a much more powerful punch which is something I prefer. The chicken was still great, just more bland in flavor. Mac and cheese was definitely good, and I thought the Jefferson donut was more overwhelming, since I had dessert as well. Truly an American experience. The banana split was amazing and massive so you should share it with other people. There were four or five different ice cream flavors in the banana split. The cheesecake was alright. It was a little less creamy than I prefer and they added sea salt. I guess to balance the sweetness. It was OK too but again, I prefer it to be plain, sweet and creamy."
