Ruth's Chris Steak House

"My mom, sister, and I went to Ruth's Chris (Tyson's) on New Year's Day to celebrate my birthday. We typically go for dinner a few times a year for various celebrations. We always have Izzet as our server. He is great at his job and has vast wine knowledge. I also frequent the Fairfax location (which is closer to my house) for happy hour every so often. I highly recommend either location for both a sit-down dinner or more casually eating at the bar for happy hour."

"We had a delicious dinner. The steaks were amazing. Don't miss the sweet potato casserole and the cremini mushrooms. Eric was wonderful and took great care of us. We were on date night and he gave us plenty of time to talk and enjoy our dinner while always being there when we needed anything. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. It was perfect for what we were looking for."

"We have always enjoyed dining at Ruth Chris but today we went for the Thanksgiving meal and there was not much to be thankful for. Our server was kind but the food was, and I am sorry to say this, not very good. We have dined here before. Our first time, several years ago, we had an older gentleman as a server and he was wonderful and meticulous and we always talked about that meal for a very long time. Fast forward to today, our first appetizer, the calamari rings, was bland and just awful. We sent them back and got the ahi tuna instead. Better, but not great. The sweet potatoes were absolutely beyond editable as there was the same, if not more, sugar added than sweet potatoes. The recipe should never ever be used again. And lastly, the pumpkin pie tasted like someone didn't measure the right amount of spices. Maybe they got tsp. and tbs. mixed up? It was over-spiced and too aromatic for the normal palate and it was a bad ending to a sub-standard meal. Please throw away that recipe too. It was genuinely bad. The turkey, stuffing, and my steak was great but paying $160 for that is just not worth it. I think today was our last meal at Ruth Chris. I am sorry but we felt like we were taken advantage of. Today's performance was completely different than our very first visit and like every other restaurant, you have gone downhill considerably. Not sure what's going on over there but certainly you all need to start over and get back to the basics. The manager was not managing today."

"This was my husband and I's first time dining here and it was incredible. Our server was such a kind man with incredible service and people skills. The salmon and steak we received was by far the best salmon and steak we have ever had at a steak house. Loved the ambiance and feel of the restaurant as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. Thank you all for the great evening we experienced."
