"Just stumbled upon Ned’s Lobster Deck for lunch and it was AMAZING!! We had the CT style lobster roll and the super beef, both delicious! Tons of lobster in the roll and nice and buttery. The large size super beef was huge and the beef was thin and soft with a delicious bbq sauce. We also got to sample the lobster bisque and NE clam chowder and loved both — tastes homemade (in a good way). Service was incredibly friendly. The dine-in area is small and casual but cute. We will definitely go back."
"The lobster roll is certainly fresh and at $26 a pop it should be. It's funny to hear the beef sandwich touted by the manager as the best item on the menu so we gave that a try. It's definitely better than Arby's, very juicy, and comes at you with two inches of thinly sliced hot pink roast beef. I could skip the sauce since it was way too sweet and would prefer to stick with mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomatoes toppings in future just to taste the beef. The clam chowder sampler is pretty good but we didn't have room for the fried clams and steamers. I would eat here and watch TV everyday if I could as a student attending the local university; but it can be a very expensive affair. Ned's is nuanced seafood offering considering all the nearby seafood restaurant competition. I wouldn't mind coming back if I ever need to reminisce about being in New England for an hour or so."
"I loved this place! I'm from the Connecticut shore and miss the whole fried clams. They were cooked well. Bellies weren't that big but to be expected off season. The fish was fluffy and big. They clearly were using fresh oil. Their take on fried dough was so yummy. It's thicker with a tasty crust to it with an apple topping. I may even like it better than the traditional fried dough! The service was on point. Thanks Brianna! The vibe totally had the New England clam shack feel. Even the decor in the bathroom. "Poop deck" lol. Luv it! Only complaint was perfume in the bathroom was too much."
"I was going to Baskin-Robbins and happen to find Ned’s next door. The place looked cute with people eating outside so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the large lobster roll, the man at the register taking my order mentioned the roll comes with chips. Or for an extra $2.75 I can get fries or the onion shoestrings. I went with the onion shoestrings which had a very nice sauce with it. I also ordered the cinnamon apple fried dough for dessert. Now for the break down, the lobster roll was amazing!!! I loved the buttery roll which was toasted to perfection. And the onion shoestrings are a must with the magic sauce! The meal was heavenly!!! I ordered my dessert to go as I knew I would be very full. The cinnamon apple fried dough are like 2 large doughnuts. And it comes with a container of caramel sauce. I would have liked the dessert more if it had an apple flavor to it. It was ok, more of a cinnamon sugar doughnut. They give you one small container of caramel sauce which is not enough. I am glad I asked for an extra one. I enjoyed the outside layer much more, the dessert was very doughy. I ended up tearing some off and throwing it away. But definitely a must try once. I will be back for another lobster roll and soup next time, and the steamed clams looked really good. The man taking my order at the register was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend Ned’s New England Deck."
"Overall, pretty solid experience. Service was nice, and people working there were amicable. Store had a pretty cute atmosphere. The food tasted delicious. Clam chowder was creamy and full of flavor. Seared tuna salad had its own unique taste, which I enjoyed. Lobster rolls were tasty. The part that made no sense was the crackers for the artichoke dip. The dip itself had a deep, creamy taste, but the crackers were some of the soggiest crackers I've ever had. I don't think it's made in-store, but it must've been sitting out for awhile since it had some of the worst texture to them. Keep in mind the shop is fairly small, and the parking can get limited."
