MOD Pizza

"I visited around dinner time … really hungry but I had the worse experience….. they served the pizza with completely burnt edges and argued if we are complaining it’s burnt for a free pizza and asked us to do the pizza ourself and not teach them though we said it’s burnt but we r ok taking it for now …. I absolutely don’t recommend going to this place if you need a good pizza and better service…. I just think not everyone wants a free pizza, they just want a good one for the price they paid ."

"pizza is pretty good. pretty frustrating when you have a lunch break for work/school and your pizza takes forever. employees move with 0 motivation, despite a long line. (which slowly accumulates due to the line not moving; not because of a rapid lunch rush). it’s one thing to be slow, but maybe not advertise “super fast” under your store sign. super slow would work better. sad because i wanted to love this place. need more employees, or just faster ones"

"I visited MOD Pizza today around 3:30 PM and ordered two pizzas. I informed the staff that I’d be back to collect them at 4:00 PM. To my surprise, upon my return, my order hadn’t even been placed in the oven. The staff member mentioned he was the only one on duty, had other customers, and was uncertain about my return time. I understood, but stressed the importance of a well-cooked pizza rather than a rushed one. Regrettably, my concerns went unheeded. My pizzas were subjected to extremely high heat and were out in less than 90 seconds. The result? A burned crust and raw toppings. A piece of advice for fellow customers: hold off on tipping until after you’ve experienced the service."

"This was my family's first visit to this particular MOD Pizza location and I have to say, we were disappointed. My daughter chose this restaurant for her birthday meal because she loves MOD Pizza and was looking forward to her meal. Unfortunately, the restaurant was out of her favorite topping: basil. Although the staff was very apologetic about it, it didn't change the fact that she was not able to get basil on her pizza. We were there about 4:45 on a weeknight that wasn't a Friday, it was June 7. It was not busy, but the service was not great and the restaurant wasn't well maintained. It made me wonder if maybe there was not a manager on duty, and I also wondered whether anyone cleaned the restaurant between the lunch rush and in preparation for the dinner crowd. I really don't think they did. The staff overall was not very attentive. After we ordered no one came forward to ring up our meals for several minutes, causing a back-up behind us. The staff all stayed behind the counter during our entire visit even though the dining area was dirty, with napkins on the floor and several tables needing to be wiped. The drinks area was not particularly clean and items like packets of cheese and red pepper flakes were almost completely empty. Two out of three napkin dispensers were completely empty, too. The trash containers at the front of the store were overflowing with used pizza boxes. The store was not very busy, there was one table there when we arrived, and two other groups of customers came and went while we were there. It seems the staff could have come out into the dining area and cleaned up a bit, and restocked the supplies that were running low. It was kind of gross to sit and eat our pizza next to dirty tables while looking out over trash cans that literally had pizza boxes coming out of the top. The pizza was pretty good, but not having basil was disappointing. Two people in our party prefer cheese pizzas with basil and garlic, so not having any basil available made the pizzas pretty boring. We do like MOD Pizza and will probably continue to eat at MOD Pizza occasionally, but I doubt we will return to this particular location."
