"Beautiful location for either a relaxing night out or a concert in the barn. The dark lager is amazing and there seemed to be a decent variety. As a non-ipa beer drinker it is nice to have a few options instead of the standard pilsner that everybody else in New England seems to offer. I would love to see a red, brown or amber in the future but for now the dark lager has my attention!"

"Wow!! Let me start with that. I try to enjoy local beer wherever I travel, and there have been some good ones on my first trip to Newport. Ragged Island ruined me for the rest of the trip. Because everything I tried was ridiculously good. I had limited time in the tasting room before close, so my sample set was four , but I tried to explore the range. Triple Berry Sour, Oktoberfest/ marzen, Aquidneck IPA, and my personal fav…the Vienna Lager. All. SO. GOOD! I will be back to try the rest. And take home whatever will fit in my checked bag. Even if that means abandoning some clothes here in Rhode Island. In addition to the beer, the experience is special! A patio that overlooks greenspace, and a barn, and some water views. I was lucky to enjoy a nice sunset before the rain fell. Off of the tasting room there is this clever space where you can sit in a greenhouse amongst a bunch of plants. It was nice to commune with nature, whilst enjoying a PSL inspired spiced coffee stout. Also spectacular. This was my second stop in as many days, and I will be back before the week is over. "Husband and I love trying local breweries. Ragged Island was so beautiful decorated. The greenhouse area was picturesque. I don’t remember what we got, some type of fruit based brew, but it was super tart. Not for me but I’m not that big of a drinker. They were dog friendly which is always appreciated. Would definitely come back for a good time with friends and good atmosphere."
