"Spouse went here for an appointment before a study. He waited over an hour past his scheduled appointment for the doctor. No apologies or explanation. On his scheduled return trip to pick up study equipment the office was closed. Mind you, this was after emails and confirmations of the appointment. It turned out the person in charge of his appointment forgot and left early, locking the doors. No more visits here. Terrible customer service."
"Had a sleep study done two years ago. They said I have severe sleep apnea which due to lack of oxygen to my brain it caused a stroke. I STILL do not have my cpap and called several times but nothing got done. Even my doctors called and still nothing."
"I like to give credit where credit is due particularly when it comes to healthcare. I had a TBI in December of 2021 and have had a horrific experience navigating through dozens of cold hearted ignorant doctors and the incompetencies of conventional medicine which in this state has been very traumatizing for me. I was pleasantly surprised with Dr. Kahn and his son, not only were they extremely attentive but they wanted to know my full recent medical history as opposed to just the sleep study I came in for. I could barely get other doctors I have seen to listen to me for the condition that I was seeing them for so this was very refreshing. Happy to have now a great pulmonary practice to add to my list of the few trusted medical doctors I know. Thank you both!"
"Dr. Khan wanted me to do an at home sleep study and an in office sleep study, but I had a sleep study 5 years ago and he stated that I should be using my recalled Philips CPAP because it shows my oxygen levels are low in my sleep. Requiring a sleep study to prove I had sleep apnea while acknowledging I should use my recalled device while waiting for the study left a bad taste in my mouth. It felt as if he was trying to get paid for sleep studies and not get me a solution that put my health first. I called another sleep doctor that stated sleep studies last 8 years and I wouldn't need a new one in order to get a replacement machine. Dr. Khan was alerted to this fact and tried to talk circles around the situation to keep me on board with an in office sleep study which I imagine has a decent insurance payment to him, and only requires me to sleep in an uncomfortable environment, and wait a few months until I have a non-cancer causing sleep device. His front desk had already informed me that an at home study would be enough if I specified I wanted to avoid the in office study. As soon as I told Dr. Khan that I wouldn't be wanting to do the in office study, he said that I should go to the other doctor. The process felt like he was just trying to get his insurance dollars, even from the start when the front desk coded my visit as a tier 3 need, when I chose them because they were a tier 1 provider. I would've needed to go back at least once a year to get a new script for medical supplies, but Dr. Khan seemed too interested in the bigger up front pay day to care for my health, and for the longer term patient/client relationship. I should've trusted the bad reviews."
"Very happy with this office and provider. Doctor is warm and caring. He has an accent, but very easy to understand. No problem getting appointments, I did have to wait one time for the CPAP clinic (not the doctor), and that was because there was an older woman with cognitive issues ahead of me. Office has some irregular hours due to it being a sleep clinic, but you can leave a message. Definitely recommend."
