Reviews
"Dr Kalker is an awesome caringmedical professional who takes the time to listen and is extremely knowledgeable."
"Had an emergency for my teenage son who had an ingrown toe nail that got infected. Dr. Kalker was incredible. He made us both feel at ease. He described each step as he proceeded. He was kind and gentle. As a mother were always so worried and have to be in control. I didn't feel the need to here. If you have any foot care issues or need advice, Dr. Kalker is the one to see. Again, I can't stress this enough, absolutely wonderful!"
"Dr. Kalker is a nice guy,but a horrible doctor. Saw him for ingrown toenails on both my feet. He performed a partial nail removal without chemical application. I was give a nerve block for this procedure that I believe was done incorrectly( this was confirmed by Penn medicine physicians) and has left me with chronic nerve pain. His methods are outdated and this procedure is only performed using his method 25 percent of the time.(Confirmed by other podiatrist and medical lawyers) I have had the same in office procedure with another doctor and was given the nerve block very differently. As a nurse myself I don't want anyone else to suffer the way I have please investigate and seek another podiatrist."
"The staff is very friendly and efficient. Doctor Kalker is friendly and easy to talk with. I chose this place as I live in Southampton and it was a straight shot to Newtown. I have not been disappointed with my decision."
"I went to Dr. Kalker last month for a very painful ingrown toenail that had been "treated" the month before by a horrible podiatrist who did a half-assed job. A month after he supposedly fixed the problem with a wedge resection, it was still too painful to wear closed shoes or even socks. I suspect he didn't perform an effective treatment because of the pain I was in while he was treating me. But instead of offering me some effective anesthesia, he just gave up and stopped, leaving some toenail still digging into the toe causing it to start getting reinfected. Then he had the nerve to send me a vastly overpriced bill later! Realizing I could never trust that doctor again, I looked for a new podiatrist and found Dr. Kalker. He was able to fix the toe, was very sensitive and caring and discussed everything he was doing. His assistant was wonderful too, and sweet. They used a decent needle-free freeze anesthesia that really did the trick. A few days later that foot was in good shape again! Later I got notice from my insurance company that he put in a very reasonable claim. I sooooo wish I had gone to Dr. Kalker first instead of the quack podiatrist whom I shall name and write about if he insists on charging me the full overpriced amount. Now the other toe that the first podiatrist also worked on is getting problematic again because he didn't do a proper job on that one, either. So it looks like I may be heading to Dr. Kalker's office again."
