"Oh God... where to start. I was referred by my PC to Illuminate where I called and asked to set up an appointment. They were able to book me within a week (surprising as many therapists are booked for months in the same area). I called to reschedule the intake when my job required me to go to a mandatory meeting last minute, and the receptionist put me in contact with Olivia Moon, who was supposed to be my therapist/counselor. We easily rescheduled to the following week. However, just 2 hours before the appointment, Olivia EMAILED me to tell me she not only wouldn't be able to take the intake appointment because I had not filled out paperwork that was required? (This was odd, as no one had informed me of any paperwork and this was supposed to be a telephone intake session). When I replied asking about the paperwork and explained I hadnt been told about it, nor received any paperwork, she told me she would not reschedule with me and her receptionist would just set me up with another clinician. I have never had such an unprofessional experience with a therapist. I hope they improve or find quality counselors moving forward, as compassion is literally the key to this occupation."
