"False advertising here. It says online and on the building itself that all rooms have a jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. We called to verify this before booking and the woman that answered said all rooms did have them and they just hadn’t updated the photos. This is false. The room has no fireplace, no jacuzzi tub, duct work near the door, no ventilation. When we asked about it, they said they knew and they get complaints about the sign. Nothing was done to fix the situation, we only stayed here because of the amenities that they didn’t end up having. Will never stay again."
"My husband and I stayed at the inn for our anniversary. I grew up in RI and always wanted to stay here. We chose the "honeymoon suite" because we wanted a fireplace and jacuzzi. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfy, jacuzzi was great. I was asked to fill out a feedback form which I did. I was disappointed that we could not use the fireplace in November due to the gas not being turned on. Also the double shower in the room did not work properly. One side barely any water came out and the other side had extremely low water pressure and absolutely no hot water. I told the woman at the front desk upon checkout so they can hopefully get that fixed. Snacks are goldfish, pretzels and store bought cookies. The breakfast is store bought muffins, turnovers and juice. Not your typical food choices at an inn."
"Beautiful Bed and Breakfast! Driving directions were easy to follow and my room was very clean. Upon arrival, a Keurig brewer was set up in the room with coffee/tea and there were little soaps and little chocolates set up for customers. The host/owner was kind and helpful in explaining how to use the shower and tv remote and what restaurants were located nearby. The only thing I had an issue with was the breakfast. I was told there would be a continental breakfast on the first floor in the morning. Since my room was on the ground floor, I was not able to get to the breakfast. The owner leaves the Inn at 8pm and doesn't return until noon the next day (main door is locked). Other than that, I had a wonderful experience staying at the Inn!"
"Very charming. Upon arriving entering and then seeing my room. We were extorted to our room. Who does that now, Terry did? Thank you Terry. Very personable staff. We had Terry Friday and Carrie on Saturday and Sunday extremely pleasant. They could not do enough for us. When I was booking my reservation back in November we originally were going to stay in November and unfortunately we had a death in the family and we were dealing with Peggy and she wanted to make sure that everything was handled to my satisfaction and the owner allowed us to come in April and I'm very thankful to them. Thank you. You have an exceptional staff phones and taking care of your B&B, you can be proud. The room was lovely. The lake was beautiful. Thank you for a nice, quiet time away. We definitely needed it!"
"My wife and I stayed at The Stage Coach Inn for our 7 year wedding anniversary in October. Walking in to the inn you could tell it was built to acommase guests traveling from their homes to stay and enjoy a nice scenic view of Those Island. The view from our second story room was absolutely beautiful, and the deck was a nice spot to sit and look out over the river. The room was quaint and the bed was a perfect size to stretch out. Now to the downside: on the website it advertised the room has a fireplace heater. Power to the heater was turned off until November 1st. We turned on the thermostat on the wall before we left for dinner in Providence. When we returned the room was as cold as it was before we turned the thermostat on. The fireplace heater was "seasonal"... I've never heard of that. My wife and I would not stay here again in October. The bed sheets and blankets were very warm, but to get up in the middle of an October night was very cold in the room. Another problem was we were informed that we may have had to move rooms due to a water leak. Instead of a second floor room we would have been given a basement room with no chance of a view. Thankfully we were able to keep our room. All in all, it was a bummer situation but we enjoyed our time at a nice Italian restaurant in Providence and fell right to sleep."
