"Nice option for a bite and a brew! Thumbs up on the breakfast empanadas, red bliss potato hash and the kite & key burger. Honorable and dishonorable mentions: When the potato hash came out it looked like a very small portion, because I'm used to seeing this dish being basically... a pile of potatoes. But I have to say, it was actually very filling and just the right amount of food. Plus the quality + flavor was far above any other version of hash I've tried. Very balanced texturally, seasoned amazingly, perfectly cooked everything including a phenomenally executed overeasy egg. Would order again and highly recommend! The fried pickle dish on the other hand, is a laughably small portion and doesn't make up for it by being exceptional in any way. It's 5 chips (rounds) of fried pickle. This is like half a pickle. The ratio of pickle to batter was batter heavy, and the sauce was typical fried pickle sauce. This dish felt like a complete rip off. Food aside, the service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed. My raspberry mule was a little too sweet but my friend's mimosa was perfect. Overall I'd say this is a nice choice for a casual meal with friends."
"Can’t say I’d go here again. The chicken sandwich sounded great and $15 for a sandwich and fries is a great price in the city, so we were intrigued. The chicken was bizarrely small, though, like a quarter of a regular chicken breast. It looks even smaller on the comically large brioche bun it’s served on. The ratios are pretty bad. I’m also a huge fan of cajun fries and ordered them as the side with an up charge of $1, which is pretty ridiculous for the light sprinkle of seasoning salt these fries came with. Honestly not even noticeable. The environment was fine and service was as well. Food was totally ok but not something I’ll dream about. Overall really mediocre."
"On a walkabout in Philly and a local told me to try this place out. Pretty quiet on a Monday afternoon after the Eagles losing on Sunday… lol. Went with all their specials of the day- Pumpkin Sweet potato soup & grilled cheese, Road Mary’s Baby Pumpkin Ale, and finally House made pumpkin ice cream. All great and service wonderful! Love local places!!!"
"Great regular neighborhood spot. Bar is great for happy hour and an Eagles game. Fried pickles are spot on and the wings are solid."
