"Let me start I did read all the bad reviews before heading over there so I didn’t have great expectations. However as a cheapskate and a craft beer lover especially searching for my lessor common styles of beer, I typically go by each bar and restaurant in airport and scan QR code to see beer selection and check pricing. Most places here in Philadelphia Airport straight rip off at 16 per pint, but when you want a beer you’re stuck. Anyway when I first approached the counter I was absolutely expecting to be poked since they didn’t show prices only beer menu. Luckily they had something for me that I was going to purchase regardless, A nice strong Golden at 8%. I was then blown away upon seeing I got a 20oz, normally higher ABV beers are served in smaller 12oz glasses. Any full pour of 20oz was only 10 bucks and I was expecting at least 20, left me room in budget to not only get 2nd beer plus a pretty solid hotdog and chips. Biggest plus was Connor the bar tender, was super cool and attentive, and then informed me I was safe to take my cup and walk back to my terminal, since I walked a fair distance just to check out all beer options. Lastly, unlike most other restaurants In airport it’s kind of obvious if your paying attention that their section is not owned and maintained by airport, as most restaurants have tables and chairs with chargers that kind of blend from restaurants into gates, so I kinda understand their right to ask people to patronize their business or ask them to leave, I was lucky to find a spot at the bar. Not excusing anyone ever treated rudely, and definitely not my experience."

"aug 22,2023- white women , age 55, 5’6. Only asked if i can move, tables are for business. Only after I pointed out others standing next to me she went and told everyone to move. and she said 1 person bought a water bottle. Yards , needs a manager to open the store. I asked for a manager and she said there isnt 1. bad experience and i was trying to eat a almond biscuit. Not hungry anymore."

"Bartender manager wouldn’t let me charge my phone, and acted like I was a sleaze all for asking. she said it was a place of business and I couldn’t expect to just walk in and charge my phone. I’d have to purchase a $10.00 bottle of WATER! Super snooty and un -accommodating. Got nasty."

"This is for the Philly airport location in terminal A. This is for Monday 8/14 @6:10pm I wanted to grab and go a 20ounce bottle of Aquafina water, “$5.14 I was told but if I had cash, $5.00”. I paid $5 cash and went back for a second bottle from the young girl working, again $5 cash collected. I went for a walk feeling uncomfortable that I had underpaid and stepped into 2 other stores in the airport. One was charging $3.51 and one $3.09. I went back to the Yard brewing and I asked if they made a mistake, since it was considerably more? “We don’t make the prices” I was told and they charged me 4.85 plus tax equals 5.14. I mentioned but you do make the prices, I was charged $5 if I had cash. Obviously I won’t be returning to Yard on my next trip out of Philly, just be careful at this bar. They overcharge or they may actually be creating a little slush fund from water sales??"

"Probably the rudest wait staff I've encountered in a long time. Food was bland and the waitress ignored me for 15 minutes until I just went to the bar and ordered. Probably my one and only negative experience visiting Philly."
