"It’s interesting the Google reviews for Ace are either a 1 star or 5 star. With almost none in between. That sums up the ace of experience which is incredibly inconsistent. I have worked with them over 5 times in the past few years. Troy and Ace Floor pick up the phone but don’t honor their commitment and lack integrity in dealing customers . They started what was supposed to be a 3 day stair case sanding and refinish job on 6/14/2023. No problem, we wanted it done right! . They sanded for 2 days and said they would return on Monday, with still 2 days of staining and poly to go it was now a 5 day project. After no showing we called and were told the schedule was full and they would come back in a week. We explained we had other trades coming in and would need it done sooner. The owner was abrasive and couldn’t be concerned. I explained we had worked together on at least 4 or 5 other jobs and that didn’t seem to register with him we were repeat customers and should be valued- Troy promptly told us he could not help us and suggested we part ways. I would have expected him to say we will get someone out soonest and how can we make it right. This company is a volume business and you are a number…they have 50 jobs a week, as Troy told us. You’re rolling the dice with ace. Depending on the owners mood you could have a good experience or a horrible one as we did! Plenty of other options out there and you certainly not missing out on a customer service experience with Troy! I would stay clear, they lack ethics and integrity"

"As a paid client just called and talked to a Troy (I believe) stuffing his face on the phone and asked for the person's same who installed my carpet a year ago. He asked for a disruption because I didn't know his name and gave me the laziest answer possible. ( Probably because I ruined is snack time). I mentioned I was a contractor myself and know who I employ to work for me and that there should probably be a record and he said by law couldn't give me that info. Mind you, I was a customer! What a bum!"

"The floors in our basement came out fantastic. There were some issues with our floors not being level but they took care of it. Both their crews that worked on the job we're on time and cleaned up after they were done. We would highly recommend Ace wood flooring to our family and friends."

"If U need flooring needs, these are the guys too go to. Excellent service from quote to floor completion!! I went away for a few days and they competed the job as described within the times frame they quoted me. No added/hidden costs or excuses than communicated from the time of the quote. On surprises....unlike other companies I've dealt with an the past fir various other jobs. I highly recommend them for your floor needs."

"Very poor quality and shoddy work: chatter marks across all rooms, gouge marks everywhere, dirt and hair trapped within the finish. Ace offered to come back to 'fix' their work but their work was so poor I don't trust them in our home to do any better next time. They admitted the lousy work and offered to refund a small part of our money- not nearly enough to have the work redone, along with the hotel, movers, cleaning expense. if you hire Ace, DO NOT pay them until the floor is dry and you can inspect their work. Once they get your money you have to take them to court to get treated fairly."
