"Had trouble keeping my daughter clean and hydrated. The director, Ms. Peggy, refused to develop her in their infant program after we asked multiple times. We were told this was an option from the beginning, I even spent time drafting a milestones list for her which I’m sure was thrown away without being read- we ended up having to pull updates of her daily activities from staff during pick up which comprised of a majority of bouncer time, almost nothing else.. She rarely napped and I was asked to pump to resolve this which was entirely unexpected, she was sent with juice and water everyday. They didn’t seem staffed enough to be present with the babies, areas were my daughter wasn’t self sufficient seemed to be where she was left to “figure it out”. Unfortunately that meant she came home rabidly thirsty, sleep deprived, and strained. It was a horrid first day care experience for our 8 month old, she lasted 8 days before we pulled her!"
"These folks are not the cleanest. My baby went there for 3 weeks and managed to collect 3 sicknesses. They were happy to take my money for days and then a week at a time with him unable to attend. The teachers are attentive and friendly but the management is greedy. I only recommend this place for your kids if all available parents can't watch their children and you don't care how sick your kids get. Don't miss any days because you'll lose your money. Worth noting I kept getting sick from my son going there. Waste of time and money for me."
"Interestingly enough I have no clue who either Mr Efortz or ML are, which speaks volumes to how much trash talk this center does about its parents. I never listened to what they had to say about other parents and their staff/owners because I knew the character of the few saying negative things. Also, in stating that I gave this center 2 stars because of one good teacher - I was specifically speaking about Michelle. She is the only one who understands childcare and actually cares about the children and the families. I do not blame her for anything, nor do I think she is part of the problem. I think she is a victim of her circumstances and the center and ownership do not appreciate her as much as they should considering they like to lay her off before the others (this was actually disclosed to me by the director). So, since I have now stated who the one person was that I trusted, I will take her out of the equation and give the center 1 star. To answer another question by ML... I didn’t remove my son sooner because we are a military family and get uprooted every year or so. We had just moved to this area and moving him again so ubruptly would have been more detrimental to his emotional health than keeping him in the same center for the remaining month and a half until I could get him into school. I wouldn’t expect anyone that hasn’t lived that life to understand. My husband has been gone 3 of my son's 5 years on the planet, and I have been gone on and off too. We try to keep his life as consistent as we can with the resources and tools we have been afforded. I do appreciate ML's maturity in your question and review, however, in complete contrast with Mr. Efortz who is obviously personally offended by my opinion of the center... verbally attacking my 5 year old in a review online. That's pretty special. It only highlights your level of maturity and character. I don't even know who you are, yet you have an opinion of me AND my child. If you had such a strong opinion of me, you probably should have found some courage to speak to me about whatever has set you off. Everything in my review was something I said to the staff at the center personally trying to fix problems for my son. If I don't defend him, who will? Oh, and PS... You’re welcome for your freedom to trash talk and throw stones. Thank a veteran this weekend!"
"In response to the post of RS my child not only attend me too preschool from the age of 3 years old till she went to kindergarten but returned for the summer. I have never had any sort of problem with the staff or owners I found them to be loving caregivers who made my daughter's first experience with school fun. That being said I have to wonder why if you thought your child was being treated badly would you keep him there?"
"absolutely love this center! I couldn't disagree with the review prior to mine. In fact, this parent was a problem parent and her child. I am THANKFUL they have left the center. IN fact this parent stayed all throughout summer...why didn't you leave before? Wait to leave a review until you finally leave?? Ms. Penny and Ms. Michelle are sweet and helpful. My 3 children have always loved coming to this center and my 4th one will be too!"
