"Dr Kaliner has been my doctor twice. I left her in the early 2000’s because she misdiagnosed my illness. Unfortunately when I moved back to the area in 2021 her office was the only office accepting new patients. I reluctantly went back to her office determined to get a second opinion on any of her diagnosis this time. Now that I’ve returned to this office I’ve experienced a breech of doctor/patient confidentiality. I had a personal and confidential conversation with Dr Kaliner pertaining to my health and she proceeded to post the entire conversation as well as some added misinformation on my medical portal for all doctors and nurses to see, trying to assassinate my character while performing unprofessionally. Yes I am in search of another PCP.."
"STAY AWAY! Appointment with Dr. Stephane Kaliner for a yearly physical. During the physical Dr. Kaliner asked me general health related questions any person should expect during a routine physical. When I received the itemized bill, I noticed that not only was I charged for the physical, but also a separate medical visit. Nearly 600$ for an unimpressive 10 minute appointment. When I called Tower Health (billing) to question the charges (my employer covers physicals 100%) and my balance of 61$, I was told that because Dr. Kaliner ASKED me questions that she and her office believed not to be physical related questions, I was charged for the physical and an additional visit. During the conversation to dispute, I asked the representative from Tower Health billing “should I have ignored her questions?? Not answer?” I was told “YES”! As a patient, how/ why should I be responsible to know any of this? The difference of questions?! My appointment was on 1/10/22 I just learned yesterday 4/13/22 that my dispute was denied and I am responsible for the 61$. If I don’t pay, a Tower Health rep. told me bill will be sent to a 3rd party collection agency. When I asked to speak to someone at the location where disputes are decided, a supervisor told me there is no phone number and that my only option was to submit an email. If you’re reading this, FIND A DIFFERENT OPTION. “Dr.” Kaliner in my opinion was unimpressive. She and the staff at her office knowingly entered information into their system that would generate 2 separate charges. I believe we deserve better as patients. This is not only fraudulent, but an absolute disgrace. I will be contacting/ working with my employer, insurance company, etc. to resolve the situation. If you have read all of this, then you’re like me, someone who does their best to research decisions. Especially something as important like a doctor. Dr Kaliner, Tower Health, and all involved - shame on all of you for taking advantage of a patient in the community you serve"
"I’ve seen both Dr. Kaliner and Dr. Yeh and both visits have been excellent! Their nurse, Lauren is also particularly good. I’m extremely grateful to have found this practice, I highly recommend them."
"We moved here from Alabama in February of 2014 and my entire family has been using Dr. Kaliner as a PCP since then. She is GREAT! I never thought I'd find another doctor that was so thorough and concerned and showed real empathy."
"I had moved to a different county and signed up with a local doctor - not knowing that this doctor was NOT accepting new patients, yet I had to get a PPD (tuberculosis) test done and so I called Dr. Kaliner's office, then my insurance company ... but little did I know, the strange sensations I felt in my face and my right eye were the beginning stages of Bell's Palsy. Since I had to come back two days later, the staff simply asked me to smile, which I was unable to do. They directed me to go immediately to the hospital ER, where I spent most of the rest of the day getting all sorts of tests done. I called Dr. Kaliner's office a week or so later & thanked them for allowing me to return as a patient & catching something that could have made a turn for the worse. I have now opted to continue with Dr. Kaliner as my PCP, despite the longer drive. She & her staff are well worth it - they're all very nice & certainly professional!"
