"I would give a 5 star, but it seems like every single time I go to pick up my prescription it’s always delayed due to dr approval. It’s every single time! The paper work or something is always being forgotten when I guess submitting my prescription. Other than that, I love the online appointments, and Dr Harris is awesome."

"I have worked for psychiatrist before and I've seen one since I was a teen and was against them for never listening and pill pushing but this practice has been 100% amazing. I even switched providers and was nervous to do so but I was nervous for no reason because EVERYONE in that practice listens and guides their patients to better themselves in the best way I couldn't thank them enough!"

"Getting ahold of the office is non existent. Every single time I call the office for anything I get a voicemail. I was supposed to have an appointment at 1:30 I called to make sure I was still having my appointment. Had to leave a voicemail and haven’t heard back since. There’s zero communication with the office and honestly it’s frustrating as hell. I give up on this place. Places like this one make it hard to work on your mental health. It’s a shame because the doctor I had Lauren was amazing. I was willing to pay when they suddenly stopped taking my insurance just to stick with her but I’m done the lack of communication is too much."

"When I spoke with the individual who followed up with me, after initial contact with Garden State Psych, I was met with an extremely offensive comment. Offensive to the point that I was off the phone within the next 30 seconds. I did not want to waste the time of the physician I was to see and wanted to let them know the nature of my conditions/needs, prior to scheduling an evaluation which would cost me hundreds of dollars. The first words out of this representatives mouth were “oh, yes, that will be a problem”. There are about 100 alternative ways I can personally think of to have responded to my divulging into the specifics of the conditions I suffer from and the medications I’ve been prescribed (for years), aside from that. Perhaps consider training your staff to be more sensitive and educated as to the diversity of patients they may be the first to contact… and in turn, represent you. This call was discouraging and unless you’re the cookie-cutter patient, don’t bother calling."
