Then, they told me that for this model, they are not allowed to do the repairs in the store. They have to ship it out to the central service center, and for this repair, they are not allowed to use customer supplied parts, greatly increasing my costs. "Great store but I should let people know this information as it did affect me. If you sign-up for the Best Buy Membership, the cancellation works differently from most stores. If you cancel it, let's say on Month 3, even though you have 9 months left, Best Buy will cancel everything from the time of cancelation as they want you to keep it active for 1 year as there is a higher chance you will forget about the auto-renewal. Usually when you cancel something they either prorate it or will notify you on the time you have left based on your payment, but best buy operates in their own way and they mis-lead it when signing up."
