"I love the World Peace Cafe! It is a volunteer-run coffee shop that offers really good locally roasted espresso drinks, teas and baked goods (my favorite is the vegan peanut butter cookies!). Its located in the Temple at Kadampa Meditation Center New York, so you have either a view of the amazing Buddhist shrine and artwork or the view overlooking the pond, gardens and woodlands. The cafe is a great place to stop in before or after a class, or after going on a walk on one of the center's trails. Definitely recommend!"
