"Good morning. I woke up Wednesday morning to find that the furnace had quit working. I diagnosed the issue as a bad igniter. After finding that no one in the area had one in stock, I called Robertson Heating Supply to see if they had one available. I was told, "We only sell to contractors." This could have caused a huge problem had temperatures been very cold. As it turns out, temperatures turned freakishly mild. This gave me time to order an igniter and have it at my house the next day. I would recommend that Robertson Heating Supply rethink their policy of selling only to contractors. I would recommend for Robertson Heating Supply to at least consider evaluating the situation and then acting accordingly. Until this policy changes, I would recommend that everyone, including contractors, order all of your HVAC materials from Amazon or another supplier if your situation permits. Apparently, Robertson Heating Supply doesn't need your business unless it means a sizable profit for them. Are they interested in their community and helping a neighbor resolve a real issue?
