"The best in BBQ! Delicious smoked meats, the best fries you can get, and the Brunswick stew is phenomenal. Watch out for the pickles - they’re spicy! The bar is stocked with a dozen beers on tap. Briquettes is a gem in the heart of the historic Ashtabula Harbor!"

"Great food and beer. The ribs were fantastic, pork nachos were also good. Also located around corner of Halcyon. Area is very cute, nice for shopping. Not far from walnut beach."

"Our second visit over the past couple of years. On our first visit we ate on the patio, this time we ate inside. The patio has a great view of the harbor. The food has been extremely good both times and our service has always been good. The menu has lots of options and the prices are very reasonable."

"Oh my yum! Perfect ribs. Meaty and full of flavor! Just enough rub! Perfect outdoor dining experience! I ordered a blueberry lemonade-but got a long island iced tea instead. Okay mistake. They baked beans were delish. Sweet tea was ahhhmazing! We tried all of the sauces-liked every single one. Brisket was tender. Mac and cheese, jalapeño cornbread and (vinegar based) coleslaw are all 5 star sides. Friendly and efficient staff!"
