"TLDR: Anne Fanelli is a fantastic therapist if you want to talk to a REAL person with incredibly diverse life experiences who will balance their listening ear, sensitivity, and true/honest feedback - ALL in an interest to help you live your best possible life. :-) I did not tell Anne I would write this review. --- My name is Sean. Anne took me on as a client back in June 2019. I was not in a good place mentally or emotionally, in ways I couldn’t even understand. After a fairly routine meeting at work, I had to go for a walk outside, as I felt dizzy and nauseous. A sense of numbness and anxiety had entirely overwhelmed my systems, and I had zero answers. Not only that: I had zero sense of the questions to ask myself, or how to help myself. Anne’s helped me in ways I cannot begin to quantify over these past 3+ years. For much of my life, I've often felt unable to feel joy, excitement, optimism, hope – all foundational parts of the human experience. I had suffered from social anxiety, generalized anxiety, depression, and more for years and years. Decades, even. Over this time, since mid-2019, my family and I have had to navigate job changes, the pandemic, various autism diagnoses (and what it meant for/to us) and much more.
