"This is a great practice and I had a decent experience here. It’s especially good for high risk pregnancies and traditional, medicalized hospital births. I personally wanted an unmedicated, low intervention birth and after meeting a few of the doctors it became clear that was going to be difficult to achieve. I switched to a midwifery group at 33 weeks and couldn’t be happier with my decision. I was able to have the birth I wanted and there was no question the midwives were going to follow my birth plan as long as baby was tolerating. If you want a natural birth, I don’t recommend this practice for a few reasons: 1. Guaranteed induction at 41 weeks. Most first time moms go into labor at 41+1/2. Reputation for inductions. 2. No delivery in tub. 3. OB preference for pushing on back because it’s more comfortable for them. 4. Episiotomies apparently common based on other reviews and hospital staff. 5. C-sections common after lots of medical intervention."
