"This childcare facility has been open for going on 15 years in December 2020. If that doesn't tell you something, then nothing will. Most centers do not stay open for that long unless they are doing something right. I have four children ranging from age 4-13. My three oldest attended Little Discoveries from 6 weeks old until the time we moved out of state, which was for a total of 9 years. In this time I have had nothing, but wonderful experiences with Little Discoveries. Miss Yamira, Miss Josefina & Miss Margie are nurturing and knowledgeable teachers that truly enjoy working with children. Miss Carol, the owner has her masters degree in special education and advocates for her children. She will go beyond your expectations to help your child strive. Moving out of state, I miss Little Discoveries Day Care and it's staff tremendously. I had to try 4 centers in my new area until I found an acceptable place to send my youngest daughter. Finding a center that feels warm, inviting and safe is so very important when trusting them with your most treasured possession, your child. I highly recommend Little Discoveries Day Care to anyone in search of a quality childcare facility. Not only will your children be taken care of and safe, but they will learn beyond your wildest belief. :0)"

"Horrible. The director Joann is incredibly unprofessional. Her utter disgust for struggling parents is so apparent. I was supposed to sign paperwork to start school for my children END OF DAY on Friday. "Any time after 4:30", the school closes at 6:30. Unfortunately my husband was in the hospital after just being diagnosed with cancer and I couldn't make it and I wasn't thinking about anything other than what was happening to my family and that my girls may lose their Father. Anyways, I called very early Monday morning to explain what happened and asked if I could come today to fill the paperwork out and PAY the school the $440 required for them to start. Joann couldn't sound more bothered by my phone call and the lack of compassion and empathy this woman displayed was palpable. She didn't offer any kind of condolences or a simple kind word. The annoyance in her voice, however, was crystal clear. She told me "Sorry, you didn't come to fill the paperwork out so someone else is interested in enrolling and we don't have room for your kids any longer." So APARANTLY this morning (Monday) a few parents called the school AND took a tour AND set up a time to enroll their children, ALL BEFORE 9 AM today. Because they went from having openings for children as of the end of the day on Friday, to all the spots being taken before 9AM on Monday. The lack of professionalism is gross. Why would you, as a director, feel the need to lie to someone, treat them poorly and be just downright rude? Especially someone who's in the thick of a family crisis. Joann, who has a habit of saying she will call back and never does, did just that. She's never called me back any of the times she said she would. I should have listened to the therapists from Early Intervention when they said it's a terrible school and not to bring my children there. From the cold and uncompassionate treatment I've received, I can only imagine how the children are treated. Children need to be nurtured, and I dont believe for a second that they nurture children there. I'm actually glad this didn't work out. After all of the negative responses I've heard from E.I. professionals, the fact that when I toured there my gut was telling me not to bring them to that school and from the terrible and unprofessional treatment, my children have been done a huge favor. I only looked into this school out of desperation, in the first place, because I needed my girls to start school immediately and they were currently enrolling. Thankfully I found a school I fell in love with, by chance, that was much much cleaner, didn't smell horrible like LD did, had a good structured schedule and a super friendly environment. PLEASE AVOID THIS AWFUL PLACE AT ALL COSTS."

"This was the first day care I ever sent my daughter too and we both fell in love! Her teachers Ms. Sue and Ms. Hilda were amazing with her. Just after a few weeks of her being there I noticed her speech and listening skills improved! They gave me daily activity sheets of what my daughter had done for the day and were constantly doing arts and crafts with her! I can not say enough good things about this daycare!"

"This school is phenomenal. My son graduated today. He was a very difficult child. He had anger issues, he was stubborn and not talkative. With the guidance and patience from the staff, he is a completely different child. He reads, does math and is sociable. My daughter is 4, also very difficult. She loves the school and has learned to respect and follow orders."
