"Brendan Devlin At J.C Taylor took about a month of going back and forth on an insurance quote only by email. I was only able to speak with him on the initial call to the business to ask about coverage after that I left one message per week trying to find out about my policy and no returned calls only communication is via email. Originally when we spoke he told me NONE of my drivetrain upgrades would go to the value of the truck. Three weeks later he proceeds to ask me the HP rating of my motor and then replies back the next week that it is too high and he is unable to insure my truck. A lot of wasted time, not sure if this is usual for them or he is just lazy!! And for those wondering, it’s a mint 1992 454SS that he only wanted to insure it for 10k when we originally spoke and I was looking to be close to 30k. Hope this helps, Danny"

"Had JC Taylor for nearly 20 years. In the past 5 years or so they constantly hassled me when I added or removed classic vehicles. Wouldn't insure a couple of the classics and would not give me a reason. They were rude about it on top of everything else. Went to Hagerty and not only did they insure my classics, but they insured some that JCT never wanted to insure and the customer service so far is way better. At one time they were giving away hats on Facebook. I messaged right away and they said they'd send me one. Never happened. Others got theirs who asked weeks later, but not me. I offered to go in person since I am local and was shot down. I even asked for some brochures to give to customers since I deal with a lot of classic cars and they could have cared less. At one time I recommended JCT to everyone. Now I recommend Hagerty. Sad."

"Got a much better quote from Hagerty after they wouldn't insure a vehicle I wanted to add on to my policy that I had with them since 2000,they said i live in a flood zone and couldn't insure me.they never notified me about this with my existing vehicle's. Switched to Haggerty and saved close to 400 hundred dollars a year thanks jc taylor you did me a favor"

"Recently, my 1963 Caddy became vandalized, & my outside drivers side mirror was stolen, & 2 tires slashed, puntured - soo I needed to have the car towed, when I called JC Tayler they were kind, compassoinate, & concerned. After speaking with Jerimiah, my claim was handled very quickly & fair ! I received a check to replace my mirror & 2 tires 2 weeks after the incident !
