"I love to support local diners and stores. I have give this place two tries and both times has been a disappointment. The soda machine is broken so they use off brand bottles which are flat and probably old. I got egg beneidic and home fries. The fries were so soft and soggy. The eggs were alright. But $30 for two drinks and two breakfasts is out of this world for how nasty everything was."

"Great service great food and I was able to get exactly what I wanted,wasn’t listed but I was able to get a normal crispy chicken gyro,usually comes in buffalo style.about 5 cups of coffee and 15$ later I was full and happy"

"an absolutely awful experience all around. first off the food, nothing is fresh and is very obvious that everything was frozen at some point i was even told that the hollandaise is made from a powder. everything is unbelievably overpriced for the quality. and now to the worst part the waitresses were very kind but the owner i believe his name is joe abuses his employees to no end i heard constant screaming and berating for what sounded like non issues or something out of the staffs control and more of an owners responsibility. Come to find out after my visit a friend had gone there before only to be kicked out by the owner when he asked for his omelet to be cooked more. it seems to me that the owner is a condescending and disrespectful man who is in love with having power over people. its worth noting that the ownership had recently changed so older good reviews are correct im sure just not for the new ownership"

"Kept forgetting to share our experiences over the years at Vestal Diner and now my child graduated and we had our last visit - as always, the staff was great, the food hearty and satisfying, and the comfort of a quiet and enjoyable place for breakfast was a wonderful way to wrap our time in the area. Immense Belgian Waffles always please the kids and a bottomless coffee cup always helps power up for busy days. Going to miss you Vestal Diner, hope we have a reason to be in town again and grab a booth for another good start to the morning."

"The service was very fast. They were attentive to our coffee cup levels and breakfast came quickly. The French toast was outstanding and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Mugs were your generic small ones with questionable cleanliness. The creamers could have been provided more generously. Overall, very positive experience. I have been there 3 times and they consistently provided great food, fast, at a good price."
