Medport Diner

"We ordered from here because of how highly rated it was and the positive feedback. However we were severely disappointed. For some French toast and a cheese and bacon omelet we spent a total of $32 and some change. With this price I’m thinking that the food has to be good. However, when we got out to go order. We were missing the toast with the omelet and there were strawberries on my French instead of blueberries as I had asked. We called to let them know and they remade the order. We went back to get the order and they got it wrong again. To make things worse. They did not remake the whole order as restaurants are supposed to when they mess up. I was charged extra for the toast and for the two fruits on my French toast. When we received the second attempt at our order, it was still wrong. The order I only had blueberries, no bananas as I was charged for the two fruits, and the toast was white toast not rye toast. Needless to say we will not be back and I for sure wasted $32. Would not recommend coming here"

"Diner prices are always great with the portions it comes with. Burgers here were big and filling. Buns are soft. Potato soup was delicious. Really enjoyed the Jack Daniel’s cheesesteak. I asked for a side of jalapeños and that was great! Waitress was nice and friendly. Everyone was super full and we even had leftovers. They have two restrooms so you don’t have to travel to the other side of the restaurant. Restaurant was nice and clean."

"We LOVE diners! NJ has is home to some of the best! The Medport is definitely one of the best. Cozy window seating, great food, very clean diner and a courteous staff. Very reasonably priced menu too. Stopped through on a trip home from the shore a few weeks ago. Definitely plan to stop here again when in the area!"

"We stopped here for breakfast. The eggs were delicious. Service was a bit slower than most diners. I know there must be a wheelchair ramp to get into this restaurant but I didn’t see it. I struggled with the steps to enter the building. For this reason I won’t be returning."

"Clearly visible from street. Plenty of parking. Handicap friendly parking and building. The food was fantastic! Bread basket with meal, was a meal! Two Danish rolls, two Cinnamon rolls and two corn bread. Soap, salad, NY sirloin w/tasty sliced potatoes and green beans; bourbon chicken w/mashed potatoes and egg plant and desert of the day, all yummy. Portion size large enough you'll be taking some home. Menu is very extensive, take your time. Staff from door to the table are friendly and professional. My waiter Lucas was outstanding. There is no senior or active military/vet discounts. Everyone has their own experiences and opinions and this one is mine."
