"Ordered a table 5/2023-45 emails back and forth trying to complete the transaction. The table shipped 9/2023-which was a little longer than expected, but acceptable. It arrived damaged. No one available by phone. Via email, was promised a replacement w/in 2 wks. Waited until late 11/2023; then proposed a repair. They agreed to pay. Said I would be reimbursed in 7-14 working days. The refund was issued 1/2024. Suspect the biz has cash flow issues-seems like a ponzi scheme-in light of so many similar customer experiences. ADVICE:ORDER ELSEWHERE."
"Ordered 4 barstools on 11/21/23. The website stated that the barstools were in stock and ready to ship. Warehouse processing time was listed as 14 - 21 days. As of the 22nd business day since ordering, the website stated that the order was still awaiting fulfillment. I emailed customer service to request the order be canceled and that I be refunded. I received no response from customer service. I ordered similar barstools from an another retailer on 12/21. They arrived on 12/23. I’m giving Burke Decor 2 stars because they did ship the barstools within 14-21 days. However, I received no notification that the barstools had shipped and attempts to get an update were unsuccessful. I refused delivery as I already received the stools ordered from another company. I filed a dispute with my credit card and was credited the majority of the purchase cost; however, I paid $45 with Burke Decor giftcards which has not been refunded to me. I had $45 in giftcards because Burke Decor was unable to fulfill a previous order I placed. If Burke Decor wants to stay in business, the company needs to improve customer service, logistics, and stop charging for orders they have not fulfilled."
"If I could give 0 starts I would. I purchased a rug at the beginning of October 2023. After not receiving it a month later, I was told via their online chat feature, that it wouldn't be shipped until March 2024. I choose to replace it with a different rug that was advertised as in stock and ready to ship. Two months later I still had not received the rug so I asked for a refund. The refund still has not been received and I don't expect it to be at this point. I have tried calling and emailing, but nobody ever gets back to me. Their online chat feature isn't working now. I have contacted the BBB, but nothing has come of it and I don't expect anything will. Order # 829069"
"I had an amazing, I should say exceptional experience with this company. I bought way to too much wallpaper! The wallpaper was very good quality and the room looks fabulous, but I bought twice the amount I needed , simply miscalculated. It was a custom order and I wrote to them asking them to consider an exception without any hope that they would! It’s been 3 months since I ordered it! They agreed and even sent me a return shipping label! Their customer service is better than most vendors I have been dealing with throughout my remodeling project! This is a place you can trust. I will always order from them!"
"Do not order anything from Burke decor. I ordered an item that Burke’s website said was “in stock.” A week passed and I didn’t receive a shipping notification (though Burke immediately charged my credit card). I tried to contact Burke via their phone number, but it’s just a recording telling you to send an email. I emailed asking for an update on my order but never received a response. I finally got ahold of someone using the chat feature on their website. The customer service rep told me that the item was “discontinued” and that they no longer carried it. To be clear, it was now more than a week after I placed my order and NO ONE EVER contacted me to tell me this. I asked the rep for a refund and she said that she would send it over to their accounting department to be “processed.” I never received my refund. I’m now disputing the purchase with my credit card company. This has been a truly terrible buying experience. I can’t believe they charged my cc BEFORE shipping the item and then made ZERO attempts to contact me to let me know that my item would never actually ship. They make you communicate via email (no way to call) and then don’t answer. Just an awful experience all around. If you read the google reviews there are lots of others making similar claims. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t see the google reviews for this company until long after I placed my order."
