"Be prepared for a long wait for subpar Ramen. Decided to go here with a small group of friends and didn't realize how busy the place would be. The restaurant is fairly small with a super limited number of tables. When we arrived, each table was taken, so we had to place our names down on a waitlist. We were number 2 in line and the wait was showing around 5 to 12 minutes when we first arrived, but this was highly inaccurate. We wound up waiting about double the amount of time, so more than a 20 minute wait, which would not have been a problem if the waitlist was accurate. When we were finally seated, it did take some time for our orders to be taken and for the food to come out. I wasn't too impressed with the menu. It's mainly what you'd expect from a Ramen shop, a few different apps, several Ramen options, a singular type of dessert. We decided on a miso Ramen, spicy Ramen, and a bibim noodles for our main meals. We also ordered pork buns and takoyaki for our apps. The portion sizes are fairly large but it does make sense for the price. It would make more sense to serve smaller portions and charge customers less so there isn't so much food waste. My friends really enjoyed the miso Ramen and the bibim noodles, but the spicy Ramen lacked flavor. Aside from the spice, there was nothing truly special about it. I was left a bit disappointed. Would rate the the spicy Ramen a 4 out of 10. Regarding the apps, the pork bun was okay. Lacked flavor as well and not enough meat. 5 out of 10. As for the takoyaki, I just may not be a fan of that appetizer. I didn't like how mushy it was on the inside, but I do believe that is just part of how it is meant to be cooked. Regardless, I would rate about a 4 out of 10 but, again, the rating is lower due to my personnel preference for texture in food. I think this would be a great place for true Ramen lovers, but unfortunately, I am just not the biggest fan of Ramen so my experience wasn't as enjoyable."
"Service is really, really quick, friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were served very quickly. Ordered the Mayu Ramen which were very tasty and rich, the meat inside was amazing. Ordered the Gyoza too, which were fine too. Would totally recommend this place to visit, especially because their service was honestly very attentive and kind."
"Very nice ramen spot!! The food came out extremely fast and all the staff were super nice! Takoyaki was the best I had! Tried onigiri for the first time here as well and liked it a lot. Definitely gonna come back here and I recommend it to anyone in the area!"
"I visited this establishment on Christmas Eve and was left slightly disappointed. I found that the staff was very quick and efficient. The establishment was loud but manageable. However, I found the food slightly lacking. I have visited many ramen establishments across the area and found that the noodles in this establishment has to much bite and the soup not enough taste. I am not sure if that is due to rushing with the preparation process due to the time or if that is the typical taste for the restaurant. Unfortunately during my visit it seemed that the entire process was rushed in an attempt to fill as many seats as possible during the holiday rush."
"Best Japanese cuisine inside of Philadelphia period, no other place can compete with this place. My go to is always the karagae curry udon ramen, it’s amazing. Their Japanese curry is amazing in general, also the karagae(Japanese fried chicken) tastes authentic, their tiny curry bowls are perfect for a taste and you can order more than one if you’d like. Also their takoyakis are amazing, it doesn’t taste frozen. Hope this place allows yelp check in online in the future, you can only sign up at their stores on busy days, but the wait usually doesn’t go above 30 minutes for one person."
