"Had an employee, who must have been newer, try to help me find what I had come in for. When he was unsure another employee with any good customer service shouted I don't carry that. So the employee helping asked if there was something else, and I named it, other employee the again shouts I carry none of that and I said thanks, no response. So I wanted out of the stop and set my mind not a penny was getslting spent here. Thanks to the young man who tried to assist me. On the other half, cheer up if you're working with the public."
"Don’t shop here if you’re looking for something you can’t find on your own. Most of the cashiers are pretty nice and helpful, but it’s a real 50/50 on how you’ll be treated if you ask where something is in the store. The last time I was here I couldn‘t find two things: soju, because it seemed like the layout had changed and it wasn’t in its usual spot, and limoncello, because I’d never bought it before. I looked through all of the aisles and checked different sections but still couldn’t find it, because like most people, sometimes I have trouble finding things in stores. I politely asked a woman stocking shelves where it would be, and she mumbled “It’s over there” in a rude tone and gestured in a vague direction. I asked her if she could point again, and she started screaming at me. Being annoyed at a customer is one thing and I get it because I worked in retail for a long time, but outright screaming and being rude to another human being is really not okay. I’m a sensitive and non-confrontational person and literally cried as soon as I was outside the store. I recommend making the trip to the one on Centre instead, they have a better selection anyway."
"Very convenient for those in the area (college campus especially), however the selection is relatively limited. Employees are very willing to help to answer questions and direct you to specific other nearby locations if you need something that isn’t there."
"“Would you like to leave your bag at the door?” Unprofessional clerks. If you require someone to leave their bag at the front door then tell them directly to do so. Don’t give me the option to carry my bag and then scold them for not leaving it at the door."
"I found out the hard way that they won't sell you booze if you have an expired ID. They wouldn't even sell it to my friend who was next to me. This makes perfect sense. The cashiers are very friendly. Gave us other suggestions."
