"The staff in this store are racist, if your skin is not white you will be given a hard time to purchase any alcohol. I came into the store with my family, all older than 25 years old. We are all Hispanics, the man at the counter asked if everyone in our party had ID. Which is not the law in any state. The law in the state is the person purchasing the drink needs to have a photo ID on hand with them. When my friend said she had her id in her photos, he immediately rejected serving all of us. We then left and purchased wine in ShopRite where they only ID one of us and not all of us. When calling the store manager Mark, he said that’s the rule they made there. That everyone needs to be ID. Once we spoke to him calling him racist because we were judged by the color of our skin he hung up. Check all bad reviews and you will see it’s all about the staff being racist and only IDing minorities or people of color no matter the age. Even when it’s obvious that the person may be over the age of 50 they ID as long as you are a person of color or a minority. If you are white you will not be asked to see your ID or given a hard time. The manager makes up his own laws and doesn’t follow state laws. Both the purple haired man, Mark the manager, and a old white lady with short grey/white hair and glasses are all racist. If you are a minority or a person of color don’t continue to visit this store and give them your hard earned money."

"If you are not white do NOT attempt to buy alcohol here! They racially profile you . They will gladly sell liquor to white customers , but Latinos and blacks do get the 3rd degree. They apparently have laws they create for Latinos only. We went to ShopRite to get a bottle of wine, they asked for everyone to show Id , which is not a state law. They all showed id but 1 of the girls didn’t have it on hand but did have it on her phone which he refused to take it. Mr Purple hair who clearly is a racist is backed by a racist older women , mean while we walked to the other side of ShopRite and was sold the bottle of wine and the entire group was not ID. ShopRite corporate needs to do better!! This is unacceptable!! It’s disgusting how they both behaved and from reading the reviews I see our groups was not the first and if ShopRite does not do something about it we won’t be the last. Wish I could give this place 0 stars."
