One Medical: Thomas Circle

"The definition of what is wrong with the medical establishment. Trendy offices all behind massive pay walls. In order to make an appointment here, you have to pay $200 for the one medical app. All the app really lets you do is book appointments. You can, however, book an appointment with a limited membership option, according to the representatives you speak to over the phone. When I tried that option, they gave me a big runaround and kept me on the phone for over an hour upselling this magical, life changing application. When I made it known to them I wasn’t going to pay and that the app was giving me issues with regard to logging in for registration, they said that I would be able to go into the office to complete my registration the day of my appointment and avoid paying the steep membership fee. That was indeed not the case. The receptionist had no idea what I was talking about and turned me around. Needless to say, I did not see the doctor that day. Would not recommend this subscription based medical service."

"Great office, great staff. Dr. Narracci was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to make an appointment last night for an appointment this morning on the app. The office is beautifully decorated and there was no wait time at all. And randomly, the building it’s in smells so good!"

"Was hoping this place would be better. They cancelled my appointment via a spam email. There was no other notice. Not only that but they didn't schedule a replacement. Almkst any other doctors office has a plan to deal with a sick physician. Not here. After 1.5 hour trip in was told I could go 30 miles away for a different appointment or I could go back to the drawing board. They didn't try to get me in. Didn't even try to accommodate. If the whole point (for me it was) is easier access to appointments, they failed. I'm seriously considering trying to get my money back on the annual fee but at this point I'll have to wait even longer. I'll update if they are difficult about that. I haven't even used them yet and I'm dissatisfied."

"I have had an ongoing issue for the last month and a half, and my nurse (Nyeesha) and everyone else have been responsive and attentive. As with any new doctor's office, I was slightly hesitant and skeptical. After everything, I couldn't be more pleased. As long as there is a One Medical office nearby, they will be my doctor's office."

"Do yourself a favor and only visit One Medical (or at least this location, specifically) if you're suffering from something basic - a cold, potential strep, a sprained ankle etc. If you're dealing with something more involved, I recommend going elsewhere. Initially I liked the follow-up via their messaging portal, but there were several times when I sent a response, and no one would respond to me for 2+ days. I'll be seeking follow-up care elsewhere, because it's impossible to get through to them. For reference, I sent them message in the photo 5.5 hours ago and still nothing (after a full day of no response)."
