DC Brau

"A local DC beer staple. Actually stumbled upon their brick and mortar location while I was trying out a nearby restaurant. The interior is cool and it was neat to try some beers of theirs beyond what I usually see at stores. Staff was friendly and I had a good time."

"Tucked away on the outskirts of the DC limits, DC Brau is a gem! Wonderful selection of brews with a great “brewery environment”. Don’t be fooled by the hidden industrial location, when you walk through the doors you feel right at home. While not the easiest location to get to (you either need a car or a nice day and some walking shoes) it is certainly worth checking out!"

"Stopped by when we had a few minutes to kill before meeting people in the area. Had the Public, which I've had before, but I "feel" it tasted better at the source. Two young ladies at the counter were very polite. There was a guy selling BBQ inside the doors (it was cold and windy out). Been a vegetarian for about 25 years so we didn't buy anything but he probably could've charged for the smells. Would like to come back again when it's warmer and to try out more of the selection."

"Superior service with knowledgeable staff. Hard place to get to with barbed wire around the tanks at the entrance. Kind of a strange place as everything is served in a plastic cup and the interior could use a coat of paint. Beer is still good and the bartenders couldn’t have been nicer."
