"Dr. Adler didn’t really try to find the problem. He sat there typing on his computer or looking through his files for a good 5 minutes, complained about how my therapist should have taken me to the hospital, but he never did anything about that even though I probably should still have gone to the hospital at the time. I was prescribed Paxil and then left. The receptionists were rude. It didn’t matter what doctor you were seeing in the building, everyone of the doctor’s receptionists were rude. The nurses made a mistake for a family’s file and told them that they couldn’t go in that day because there was something missing from the file. The family didn’t speak English well, but the nurse didn’t try to explain things. She kept repeating “You can’t see the doctor. You’re missing this from your primary care doctor.” The family then started scrambling and calling around, trying to find out what was wrong. About 5 minutes later, the same nurse came back and said that they actually could see the doctor. She didn’t see something that was on their file. (She never apologized for trying to make them miss their appointment.)"
