"I absolutely loved my experience here. I saw Lindsey and she was so down to earth, fun, helpful, compassionate, and overall incredible. I honestly felt like I could open up to her and like I was talking to a good friend each time. The office staff were extremely nice and helpful; I never had any issues at all with them. The office itself was professional and welcoming AND they have office dogs to pet! Definitely recommend for anyone seeking any sort of mental health assistance."
"I work in the mental health field as a MH counselor and this OPMH office has frustrated me over the last few months. I rated 2 stars because I know how it is working in offices like this and the ladies at the front do seem kind and empathetic - they did nothing wrong. This review is pertaining to my psychiatrist and the management principles I suppose. My psychiatrist lacked emotion and spoke in a very one-tone demeanor. I never brought this up to her because I realized as long as I was seeing a therapist, I did not need to connect with my psychiatrist on an interpersonal level. I know I needed medications, so that is why I continued seeing her. She would not look at you when you spoke. She just typed for the entire 5-10 minute visits. In working in the MH field, I know that you cannot bill for under 15 minutes, so I am not sure how she was billing when our visits always lasted under 15 minutes. My psychiatrist was always CONSISTENTLY at least 10 minutes late, yet their office policy is that the provider must send a link to the patient before 15 minutes into their appointment (due to billing reasons). Sometimes my psychiatrist would send a link 14 minutes after the start of the appointment, but would not be on the telemedicine video chat when I arrived just minutes after receiving the link. Perhaps the video links could be sent to the patients the day of the appointment (at least an hour before), so that patients are not held responsible for paying for $75 no show fees when it is not their fault. Mind you, I have never missed an appointment with any other provider. If I have to cancel, I let the provider know at least 1 day in advance. The office ladies are really proactive about billing and provide you with at least 2 reminders of your appointment which is super helpful. Staff refuse to let you schedule an appointment follow up unless you call them to pay your balance in FULL. This was an inconvenience for me. I had not been to a facility that operated in this way. They threaten to cancel your appointment, leaving you in a state where you are out of medications if you do not pay. I wouldn't have the heart to do that, but to each their own lol. I had never had problems with a psychiatrist prior to this one, so I felt the need to share."
"This place has very nice receptionists. How er there prescribers are TERRIBLE. She has no energy and looked down her nose at me. I have take close to 40 different SSRI. My goal with them was to go from 6 medications to 3.They will not provide Mondonifi,Dexedrine it and benzodiazepines (for anxiety) All they want to push is non generic medication to line their planets .Clearly the books they read for their fevers failed them on. How to talk to a patient and work with him.Shane Tried to push every mess that has never worked. I’d like to see her body fill with all the trains air on and thought the since experiments doctor had tire"
"Absolutely horrid practice. Not understanding of patients' situations at all. They claim that you do not care about your mental health if you miss ONE appointment when they schedule a month out and do not offer any forgiveness. However, when dealing with a wide range of clients who have mental health issues, this is farthest from what they should be doing. Mental health patients deserve respect, patience, and forgiveness-- they do not deserve to be treated like children who don't know anything. Do better."
"The negative reviews do not speak properly of this practice at all. I have been a patient with MMH since October 2020 and have never had any problems with scheduling, therapists, or medication. Joy at the front desk is very lovely and always calls me to confirm my appointment, and is just as lovely in person. Jennifer S. who prescribed my medication was caring and listened to my concerns and I am now happily taking and feeling great with what she prescribed. Unsure of her name, but when I called to have my prescription refilled the woman I spoke to on the phone was ALSO very lovely and kind as she had to re-write the script for the medicine. FINALLY, my new therapist Chelsea L. is out of this world. She is soft-spoken, polite, and listens to me intently. I feel extremely lucky and fortunate to be able to speak with her. The office is always calm, uncluttered, and I am always seen in a timely manner - even when I had to do telehealth appointments. If you are a person who is able to stick to the appointments you make, and you have patience, you really shouldn't have any issues as previous reviewers have listed."
