The Berks

"It was relatively safe with the key fobs, except there were a good four days in which my boyfriend didn't even need a key to get in the first door. The maintenance and such would arrive very quickly and were very helpful, as well as the managers. However, I lived by the garage and it was miserable. It was incredibly loud throughout the day and night. In addition, the walls are INCREDIBLY THIN, so I had to buy and weak earplugs due to my upstairs neighbors. It has been so loud my roommate and I almost called the cops because it was giving us scary ideas of what may be happening. We also had to move in late because of the people who lived there before, but when we requested to move out a few days later, they decided to give priority to those moving in after us. Based on the fact that we paid $950 dollars a month for a small two bedroom (now it will be $1,000 a month which is why it is especially unbearable to spend that much to live here), I would expect a little more understanding. Anyway, I personally would not recommend. I had a better experience with my house last year and much preferred Vantage apartment building prior."

"My daughter lived at the Berks the 22-23 school year, and it was a great experience. Safe building (including a parking garage) and great location - close to campus. Mark was always very responsive to any questions -- whether about move in/out or questions about the rentcafe portal (for paying rent). I highly recommend The Berks!"

"I lived at the Berks the 21/22 school year and it’s been an amazing experience. The property is nice and our apartment is spacious. It’s also very secure which makes you feel safe. Mike the landlord is super responsive and always there if there is an issue or if we need anything. Maintenance gets issues fixed immediately and are always really nice. Definitely would recommend living here. One of the best off campus places I’ve lived."

The property manager Mike is a great guy who is always willing to help if there is any issue. One thing I also really like is the security throughout the building !"

"great student housing located off campus at Temple University! management is great and the apartments are updated, clean, and perfect for college students. underground parking garage is a huge plus to avoid the limited parking on surrounding streets. the building is very secure, every door requires a key fob to access the building. i’ve never had any issues living here!"
