"The service was exceptional, a solid 10/10. The atmosphere and location were also commendable. The drinks, especially the grill punch, were delightful. However, we encountered an issue with the skirt steak – while it looked and tasted great, it arrived a bit below room temperature, impacting our overall enjoyment. We mentioned it to our server, who kindly offered a free dessert for the inconvenience. The French fries were excellent, the side order of shrimp and crab cakes were good as well but the string beans were just okay; personally, I wouldn't order them again. On a positive note, the burger was quite good. Despite the minor setback with the steak, I would recommend giving this place a try."

"Went here with a friend to check out their restaurant week menu. This was my first time here the staff were friendly the hostess told us the kitchen was a little backed up. We started at the bar , the bartender was very nice and knowledgeable. I had their signature punch which was good. Our waiter was good as well food was good we did all the eats (appetizer) and then their steak and crab cake as well and the pineapple upside down cakes. I recommend you check the restaurant out."

"Can't think of a more perfect dining experience. Nancy, our server, was so welcoming and provided the best service. All of the dishes were fresh, flavorful, and prepared perfectly. The fish sliders were some of the best I've ever tasted. Absolutely great meal!"

"Great location at the Wharf. Parking (G2) was an easy walk down to this restaurant. Yes there is a kid's menu. Kids need to be a bit older (tables are small) & close to others. Yes to allergy-sensitive good options. The food was outstanding. We were pleased with our delightful waitress. Will return for our next visit to DC."

"When an establishment is called The Grill, it's a clear indication that a lot of animal-based protein is going to be sacrificed on an open fire, and that's how it is at this upscale restaurant. One immediately notices how big and clean the place is with multiple seating arrangements. Service is top-notch with well trained professionals who have been doing this a long time. Meats were cooked to order and served in a timely fashion. Prices are too high but somewhat expected, particularly when the Wharf location is taken into account."
