"My sister lives here. She's lived here for 25 years. This place is terrible. She pays $1600 rent for a moldy moist apartment. She's probably spent over $300,000 renting in this dump. The carpets are old and dirty. Walls dinghy. Bathrooms are 1980s and very decrepit. The parking lot is overfilled with dead cars and the dumpsters are filled with trash and furniture from outsiders. This place is just depressing and you have to be desperate to live here longer than a year. I'll update you with photos in the future. This complex is for the dead or dying."
"My car just got stolen from the parking lot. I called the office to asked if there is cameras they said no ans not planning to install any cameras . I also asked about better lighting in the street she rudly stated to take it up with management. My rent was raised 350.00 In a year. Don't recommend to rent here."
"If i could give 0 star rating that would be a truer opinion. I've seen slums in Peru with better facilities. Maintenance is non-existent. Should be reported to fire marshall as the smoke alarms are constantly beeping. There is no safe way for anyone with mobility issues to enter any building in the co.plex. apartments are NOT A.D.A. friendly nor compliant. I don't even want to imagine if there was ever a fire in any of those buildings. Very few people would be able to exit the apartments and get to safety. Congress Apartments is a tragedy waiting to happen."
"Way overpriced, things always broken and maintenance takes their good old time doing any repairs, if they bother at all. My son lived there for almost 3yrs with air conditioner not working, stove not working, water leaking in bathroom, electrical outlets not working. They also lie about rent amounts too. Over the phone they tell you one price, when you call back or visit, it’s then a different price. You’ll find other residents in the exact same type of layout, with a lower price and they moved in AFTER you did! Can’t speak to anyone in the office, even though you can hear them in there, they don’t answer the door and they keep it locked. Don’t go here if you can help it."
"I lived here years ago . I just googled it to see how much more they are asking for rent from when I lived there. I co signed with many people on here . Leasing agent is unprofessional even when I lived there I think her name was Monica or maybe that was the manager either way she was the worst ! I didn’t have any mice or roaches at all but they did take forever to fix anything and when I moved out they lied and said I owed months of rent. The leasing agent , enter my money order number wrong . I had to bring all my receipts to show proof I paid and don’t owe nothing!! And never took it off my credit and put a lien in my credit . I can’t stand them ."
