Holiday Inn Express Allentown North, an IHG Hotel

"I stayed here for one night because I had a morning procedure at Lehigh valley cedar crest. The location is good, you can easily jump back on the highway from this location. Unfortunately the room could have been cleaner. I rented a room with two queens and one of the beds had multiple stains on the comforter and pillows so I avoided that one. The bathroom was dilapidated with hairballs in the corner of the tub. Thankfully I showered just before my arrival because I was not keen on using the tub. If you can find somewhere in the same vicinity I would recommend giving another establishment a try."

"Stayed there once and will never again. I was accused of damaging the tv in the room. I’m a Diamond Elite with IHG. I pretty much live in hotels and have never had this happen before. I was charged $680 for this. I do not recommend this hotel. If you do stay, I recommend having a manager inspect the room with you prior to entering it."

"The handicapped room we stayed at was inaccessible. While the bathroom was huge, the room was too tight for someone who uses a wheelchair to navigate properly. Only the suites are spacious enough to work for someone who uses a wheelchair. And the suite we stayed in on night two had window shades that were stuck down - no natural daylight for us!"

"There are a couple of great things about this hotel and a bunch of terrible things. First the location of rt 22. If you have to drive on that thing anytime around rush hour, plan to be parked on the road for a while. Then the rooms. They are ok at first look, but upon closer look, the trouble starts. My granddaughter ran around their room (near ours) and got black feet as a result. I'm sure they vacuum, but the carpets haven't been cleaned in ages. The showers use badly scented jells rather than actual soap and shampoo. Ours had no soap at all, the bottle was empty. Then there's the food. Their breakfasts are amazing, but that's all there is. You have to drive around Allentown to find lunch or dinner and that's no easy task. We found it complicated and loaded with slow traffic to get to any restaurant or even a grocery store. The staff was great and very friendly so that's another plus, but we may not be staying here again."

"It was a great experience while I was there. The only thing is that they didn't put towels at the swimming pool and the gym section. Also, if you need extra blankets at night, they won't be able to provide you just sheets.The breakfast was excellent. You have the option for coffee 24 hr."
