"PART TWO: I hang up and for the first time she actually told the truth and called me within seconds. She calls to tell me they have to move on with the applications because I didn't put down the security deposit. I explain to her about how I got approved the 8th. Spoke to Monica about coming to see the apartment that Monday the 11th since the office is closed all weekend. Monica no showed and wasn't even professional enough to notify me she wouldn't be able to show me the apartment. So then the 12th rolled around her doing yet again she never called me back and now it's the 13th and all of a sudden it's been "so long they have to move forward with the applications" then she decides to bring up a "situation that happened between my fiance and her staff" which NEVER HAPPENED. Apparently asking for a resource of communication to a women who is unable to professional do her job at running an apartment complex is "uncalled for behavior". The women running this office are truly lower than mcdonald level workers with how unprofessional they are and how badly they lack bacis communication skills. On a side note I am out the $100 for an application fee however I am not upset about not renting here when I pulled up to the apartments my stomach turned so badly just by the sight of it. Pictures are absolutely nothing compared to what you will see in person. It looks like one of the worst condition apartments I had ever seen. The office itself as you pull in has a garbage bag covering where a window is missing above the pool. The wood of the apartments looks like it's so rotted they just painted it all blue to cover it up. Just by seeing how badly they are on the outside I couldn't imagine the condition they are in on the inside. I definitely dodged a bullet with this one and saved myself from probably getting infested with bedbugs. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone instead I will make sure to spread the word about how poorly they are and how the staff in the office is even worse than the condition of the apartments."
"I’ve been trying to get in contact with the property manager for the last month emailed, called, left messages; no answer to date. This shows the lack of proper management. If they’re unable to Answer the phone to possible prospects, I can only imagine their sense of urgency while responding to calls from current tenants"
"I lived here from 1990-1993 and the place was great, clean and well maintained. That was a long time ago. Sad that it seems the high standards weren't maintained. The rent does seem relatively much less expensive now; I seem to remember paying not that much less 30 years ago."
"I have lived in the Riverbend complex for almost two years and it has been a terrible experience. After not allowing a tour until the move in date, I have experience multiple issues with the unit. The refrigerator is covered in rust and I was told by the manager that would have to pay an upgrade fee in order to fix that issue. There is no point in putting in a maintenance request because they could take up to a year for them to come fix the issue. My dryer has been broken since the day I moved in. After a plumbing issue that arose from one of the upstairs tenants pouring grease down the drain, they did not have the issue fixed until i arrived home from work with the sink flooded and my kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and half the living room was soaked with dirty dish water. After that plumbing issue it caused water damage to my kitchen counters around 08/16/2021 and till the date of 05/3/2022 the issue has not been addressed. I spoke with the Leasing Manager about this several times and the first response I got was that maintenance has been busy. I know several residence in the area who have placed work orders in within that time frame and had the issue resolved. I contacted the property manager about it again and was told they would come on a specific day but no one showed up. The water damage has caused mold to grow in the kitchen cabinets and damaged the shelves so I have not been able to store my pots and pans anywhere accept my dining room table. The property manager does not seem to take this issue seriously. Also I was told that the property was deep cleaned when i first arrived. Upon discovery while cleaning when i first moved in, I learned that that statement was a lie. After pulling out the washer and dryer, I discovered a hard layer of dirt and a sock that belonged to the previous tenant. They were even so lazy that instead of moving the sock when the were painting, they simply painted of the sock and called it a day. They also used tape to cover any holes in the wall and simply spray painted over it. Used tape to repair the blinds in my dining room and told me I had to pay for new ones even though they were broken when I arrived. There paint job overall seems as if they put no effort in even trying to make it look nice. There is paint residue on the bathroom mirrors, patio door frame, and water heater. I wished to be contacted by someone higher than the property manager since they are in no rush to address any of the issues I have brought up over the past 2 years."
