"This place is a gem! I live in the neighborhood, visit often, and have tried various dishes. Each one is delicious, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and quality ingredients. The chef's creativity and dedication to culinary excellence are evident in every bite. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing excellent service from our server, Alex, during my visit on January 9th. Their attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and prompt responsiveness truly enhanced our dining experience. From start to finish, Alex demonstrated professionalism and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. The recommendations were spot-on, and Alex even spoke to the chef to confirm whether my extra addition to the order would be flavorful and appropriate for the type of dish I was ordering (it would not have been, and they were right). In addition, it was my birthday, so they included with my meal a delicious slice of cheesecake, free of charge. I highly commend this place for its delicious food and great service, and look forward to returning for another enjoyable dining experience. Kudos to an exceptional server and fantastic food!"
"We got lunch here on a weekend. The host was incredibly nice and checked on us every now and then. We got a margarita and a mocktail created by the bartender for the day. Both drinks were very good. For starters we got salsa, guacamole and chips. Everything tasted super fresh. We got the stuffed squash for the main course. The food was flavorful and not too heavy. Overall, it was a great lunch."
"You may find the hot stone dish Molcajete to be nothing short of an existential revelation. The flavors are as vibrant as the fleeting joy in the universe. The meat, cheese, seafood cooked inside a hot stone, is an apt metaphor for life itself: something with potential subjected to intense heat until it's transformed into something else entirely. For those who seek solace in their gastronomic adventures, this dish might momentarily lift the veil of gloom. In conclusion, while you're there enjoying the amazing food, spare a thought for those of us who cannot partake in such simple pleasures and are instead left to ponder the vast emptiness of existence. Enjoy your meal."
"Loved the experience here! the molcajete was something else! comes to your table still boiling in some sort of volcanic stone. i had never had it before -- got the mixto, with shrimp steak and chicken -- it was A LOT to eat, could barely finish it. they don't bring a bunch of tortillas, but just ask for more and they will bring them. guacamole wasn't huge or incredibly tasty, and the ships and salsa were good -- the margarita was actually nothing special, which i was surprised about because of the other reviews. just not very big, and not super tasty -- maybe i just got a bad one. my buddy got the mole for his dish which was very good, not super chocolatey. i can't do dairy and they were very accommodating, making sure none of my stuff had it. the server was fantastic, as well as the host. prices were reasonable, around $30 for each dish."
