With helpful (& cute) signage and instructions around every corner, a fully stocked kitchen, on-site printer, and reliable WiFi, I know when I go there I am going to have everything I need. "I’m an entrepreneur who has called various corners of the world “home” during many different periods of time in my life. I’ve had a lot of experiences with virtual offices and co-working spaces. I can say that the folks at Uptown Works are to be commended for the service they provide to the local people of Somerset. My wife and I worked with the folks at Uptown briefly in early 2022. But unfortunately, they weren’t setup to offer a virtual service that fit our needs. Our true need was a place to call home "a virtual HQ" and not so much a place to physically go to work. Their business model is centered around “physical” co-working onsite versus providing virtual services. We did tour their facility and met their staff. Everyone was quite friendly and their facilities were quite innovative! Especially for the geographic location. I’d highly recommend Emily and her staff at Uptown Works if you’re someone in search of a physical location to work at. As a "new" local Somerset resident. I am excited to see what the future holds for this business. If you’re someone who adores small business and not the “corporate machine,” Uptown works is a place you should look at."
