"Rooms smell moldy, through the whole hotel.Employees live in the hotel.I seen an employee with two dogs and a cat.Hot water dispenser for tea has mold coming out of it. No heat in some rooms.Spider webs in every corner of the room. Very low budget, you truly get what u pay for here!"
"This Location Spies on You Completely exhausted, traveling with a moving truck and family members, including a cat, I booked this hotel because my brother said that they had a reasonable pet policy. He was right about that, but not about anything else. I checked us in, answered a few questions that I have no memory of now because I was so tired, and then got my family into our room. As soon as the door shut behind us, the phone started ringing. I answered it, and it was the person from the front desk, saying, “You booked the room for yourself, but there are three people in your room.” I was confused, because I’d said at the desk that we had a cat. I pointed this out to the person on the phone, and they said they would still be charging me an additional ten dollars. I sort of shrugged this off, a little irritated but too tired to argued, and went on with my night. In the morning, I noticed that little sign on the back of the door that explains room charges. Guess what didn’t change based on the number of occupants? The price of the room. So, I was irritated even more, and when the Quality Inn survey came that asked me about my experience, I told them that I didn’t appreciate the extra charge, nor did I appreciate being spied upon as I enter the hotel. I felt that the spying was ridiculous, especially when the room charge listed on the back of the door didn’t change when more occupants were added. Another thing I found out—I went back to the Quality Inn website, just to see if I could add more occupants if I wanted to. Turns out, even if I select the room that states it has a 4-person occupancy, once you go to book that room, it switches to having only 2 guests. I could not find a way to change it to more on the website. So, even if I had thought to add more people in my exhausted state, I couldn’t have. Quality Inn reached out to me and basically said, “Hey, you didn’t book 3 people, so we charged you extra. Please don’t share this review.” So, naturally, I am sharing this review. I feel like this location took advantage of my exhaustion—I was not in a place to argue or explain at the time of this incident. Besides, there’s no reason to charge an additional fee for something that’s not normally charged at all. And spying on guests is just downright CREEPY."
"Unfortunately this hotel is in the middle of PA Turnpike’s construction and you can easily be back on the turnpike if you don’t pay attention to Detour signs. However, this made me think the hotel was abandoned because of the appearance. Building is in dire need of power washing, skylight repairs, mowing or landscaping, and concrete repair. The evening clerk was helpful and welcoming, even allowing us to park our motorcycles under the overhang at the entrance. We could walk to a few restaurants. Our bed was comfortable, shower was good, though the distance from the toilet to the door was just a few inches at best. AC was good. But our inside room floor to ceiling window opened up to the inside courtyard and we had to keep our curtains drawn at all times. The courtyard had obvious problems of leaking water. There are two pool tables in there. NO LOUNGE as the website says, and the decor is severely outdated, nothing like the website pictures. But we don’t take that much priority on looks most of the time. However, it was a little discerning. Our breakfast began with “powdered eggs” clearly not omelette or scrambled type eggs. The waffle mix was working though the clerk could not understand us when we said, nothing was coming out of the spout. Only childrens yogurt available, “Trix and Danimals”, strange looking and pale sausage links. We did the best we could with what we had offered to us. We were there on a Tuesday. But we did find out we were just a few miles away from the Flight 93 National Memorial park. Location was decent, room was clean and comfortable and for the price, it was tolerable."
"We got here at 2am. My husband checked in while me and my children got our bags together. We walked through the whole hotel, which was kinda like a maze. When we got to the room, the staff was waiting and said only 2 children allowed per room. Or 2 adults & 2 children. We have 4 (one is 9months so we didn’t think he counted), anyway, we were tired and didn’t want to argue. We went and paid for another room, that was luckily right across the hall. I was uncomfortable leaving my 3 daughters in a room by themselves in a strange city we’ve never been to before, but if it was right across the hall, I would be ok I guess. We got the kids set up and ready for bed, then I went over to our room. My husband said “Umm there’s a needle in our bed..Don’t touch it, I’m going to the desk to tell them…” He left and me and my 9month old son stayed in the room. Thank God he found the needle, and not the baby. The manager came in and said he’ll give us a new room. Only problem was it was on the other side of the building, 3 hallways away from where my daughters had to stay. So I ended up staying with my daughters and my husband took our son. Maybe it was housekeeping who had the needle. Could’ve been a diabetic, could’ve been heroin, we don’t know but it was scary to think about our baby possibly finding it before us and poking himself. After the scare and room change, we all slept really good… The hotel itself was decent. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good (eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, juice, muffins). When we were leaving the manager asked how our stay was, my husband told him not great, considering having to buy an extra room, and be moved from ours after finding the needle. He said he’ll talk to housekeeping about it and do something for us. Maybe a refund. We will see."
