"DO NOT RENT FROM HIM!!! He never fixes anything. We rented two apartments from him. A one bedroom and then a two bedroom because our family grew. The dishwasher in both apartments didn’t work. The heat barely worked. He never plowed the snow until later in the evening. We had to shovel ourself out more than a few times. In the second apartment the sump pump broke outside the apartments and our wall started to mold and the carpet was wet around the walls. We told him about it and he blamed it on us. The sump pump was for the whole building. We moved out right after this. He refused to give us our deposit. A few other people that rented off of him told me they never got theirs back either. He tried suing us for damages. The judge threw it out. Apparently he tried to do it quite a few times to other renters. I later found out from his handyman that Gibbs never left him fix things the right way. He always made him rig things to work."

"Currently renting and I moved in the end of January and still have things that need to be fixed that he said would be fixed when I moved in (it is now the end of march) made us pay for unnecessary bills that should be been his responsibility. Never plows on time and I just fell outside I'm the parking lot today, he doesn't salt so we have to do the steps and our walk area and now have to salt the entire property (even our neighbors units) to ensure we won't slip and fall. After this year I will NOT be rending from this man again."
