"I’m extremely disappointed with Dr Escalante. I want to preface this by saying: She has been my son’s, Father’s family doctor for over 30 years. In the past (2007-2015) she was AWESOME! She was always available. If we needed to get my son in there she would make it happen right away. I thought she was the sweetest. Fast Forward to 2020 - My son had a routine physical. That was required because of an open CPS case. (That’s how I know for a fact my son was there) He is over due for a physical at this point. I tried to call her today to set up another appointment for my son. I was told the appointment book was “not at the office & Dr E would call me when she got in” When she called me, she told me that my son has not been into her office for three years and not only THAT but I have to find a new Dr for him!!!!!! I’m completely blown away because this is the second time she has told me she can’t see my children. The first time was about a year ago I asked if I could bring my two younger children there so they could all have one Dr and make it less traveling & she straight told me NO! But I accepted that, I didn’t make a big deal about it because I understand doctors not accepting new patients. But when she expressed such disregard for my 14 year old son who’s been seeing her since birth…I’m more than disappointed, I’m hurt!"

"Dr. Escalante was my pediatrician 33 years ago at birth. She took wonderful care of me for 8 years, and unfortunately because my family moved, I had to see a different doctor. Shortly after moving, I was hospitalized with pneumonia for several weeks. Throughout my stay, I had a fever of 105, and was having convulsions, but I still cried for my pediatrician. Dr. Escalante had a bedside manner with me that made even the nicest of doctors seem demonic. She just had a natural nurturing demeanor that makes a patient at ease very quickly. Dr. Escalante came to visit me in the hospital, which was NOT a convenient drive for her. She also berated the staff at the hospital because she felt they were not giving me an acceptable level of care. She was so good to me, that in 2008,I chose her to be my son's pediatrician."
