"Ideal place for families, boasting affordable rent with outstanding amenities, unparalleled safety measures, tranquility, and an exceptional community vibe."
"Expensive place to live and the apts aren't anything special. Carpet is very cheap and the paint job they do when a tenant moves out is pitiful, I've found cobwebs, dirt, bugs and wax painted over. Paint is dripped and slopped on every surface and to make it worse of all it's an ugly flat pain the color of it looks like "Dirty-Cigarette" Maybe I'm too picky but I don't think so, I like a white ceiling and a different color wall. Even if they still used this ugly color if they could splurge for a satin or semi gloss that would make it 1,000 times nicer looking. • Office staff are ok • Maintenance guys are all GREAT! • They do keep the grounds looking nice, it just depends which bldg you live in if your neighbors litter in the parking lot or not, in my bldg they do and it makes me feel like I live in the projects! • Other than the sloppy people, cheap carpet and ugly paint there is a pool during seasonal months +, 2 tennis courts and an indoor fitness center. • I just feel for all the money we pay here they should put a little more into the apts."
"I lived at Stonecliffe for 6 months and recently left due to a relocation. I've had a positive experience. The office and maintenance staff have been phenomenal. Any issues I had requiring maintenance was handled promptly and effectively. The apartment complex is quiet and pet friendly, which was huge for me. The grounds were nicely landscaped and the pool was enjoyable as well. Thanks for a positive experience."
"Before I mention anything else, the worst part of living here is the office staff. When I first moved in a woman name Christy worked there who was friendly and ALWAYS available. Then she left. There were 3 times during my final months where I went to the office when they should have been open and the door was locked. One time I started banging on the door like a maniac and someone magically appeared at that point. This is bad when you need help and are paying over a thousand a month for something!!! And good luck getting them to answer the phone. Oh and they also removed their mailbox so that version of correspondence is gone too... So for issues with the apartment... I was in an updated apartment that was clearly done in extreme haste by a team that had no idea what they were doing. The kitchen cabinets were screwed to the wall in the most appalling ways (at least they did fall I guess). They put the sink drain in upside down which we found day 1 and the poor maintenance guys had to come fix it. The carpet was laid improperly and started to just pull up at every seam. Which I complained incessantly about. Thank god I did because my friend who didn't was charged a fee (over 1k) to change the whole thing when she moved out. Also within the first month our internet went out because they were digging and hit the line. Another brilliant work team they hired. Whoever they hire for snow removal is also dreadful. Sometimes it would take them so long to plow that the snow already started melting. As for good things. Stonecliffe is cheaper than a lot of other options. The patios are really nice. They also keep the landscaping nice. Finally, the maintenance team is really kind and usually quick (as long as you can get the damn office to pick up the phone.)"
"We spend six years at Stonecliffe. Five of those years were great, and then Amore sold the property and it wasn’t so great anymore. Berger is making a lot of necessary updates and repairs, I will give them that. The property is old and outdated and the apartment itself looked like it hadn’t been renovated since the 1980s. The new units are beautiful. But Berger is not very good at communicating. Emails went unanswered all the time - often for weeks - and the office was sometimes closed when it shouldn’t have been. While they have replaced the light fixtures, street signs, and fixed the pool, there’s still a lot about the property that is just not up to speed. Snow removal is horrible. The old crew used to be so quick to clear everything, the parking lots would be plowed and the sidewalks salted before anyone had to leave for work. Last year, the sidewalks sat covered in snow and ice for days at a time and whoever did the snow plow blocked access to the dumpsters so no one could take out their garbage. There were giant shipping containers holding the construction materials sitting in the parking lot for months, paint dripping out of the doors and cigarette butts scattered around them all over the ground. Our backyard had drainage problems for years that were never dealt with. Overall, Stonecliffe is not horrible. But it’s not as good as it was, and while the units are beautiful, the overall experience is not worth what they’re asking for in rent."
