"The building has a bad smell. I won’t recommend it unless you accept all this low level apartment. You can find same rent even downtown."
"I've lived in the Brittany Apartments ever since September 2020. It's a nice, quiet place to live, especially if this is your first time moving to a new place on your own. There's a bus stop right outside and across the street from the building. Maintenance will immediately take care of any situation you might need. Also, having a convenience store nearby is a great bonus."
"I’ve had nothing but great experiences this far. Having a commercial space within a residential building might seem odd, but everyone here at the Brittany has been wonderful. Santino made the application process pretty seamless. I’m happy I made the choice to come here."
"Brittany Apartments has been very accommodating to my recent move-in and solving issues in a quick and efficient manner. It took time to adjust to a new place but I am very happy here so far."
"My husband and I lived in a 1-bedroom apartment at the Brittany Apartments in 2016, and it was okay. PROS: The view, which if you're on the west side of the building stretches gives you a great view of the skyline. The rent, which was very affordable and allowed us to do a short-term lease (we were in-between relocating for a career change and needed a short-term lease; they were a great option for the price). The bus stop is right outside and is very reliable. The building locks down for the evening requiring key entry (very safe!); the amenities of the weight room are also pretty nice and usually quiet. And I love the shopping cart to take in groceries; I wish every apartment had one! CONS: The look of the apartment and the fixtures. Everything's been painted over so many times, and the cabinets/appliances are incredibly dated and dingy; the moldings are old, the ceilings are spotty and colored, the closet doors are rickety and cheap -- Basically, it both "is" affordable and "looks" affordable. Also, the noise is pretty darned bad; I was privy to several lovers' quarrels in the middle of the night and could hear my next-door neighbor practice her guitar quietly in her room (you KNOW the noise is a problem when you can clearly hear quiet, unassuming noises!). Also, the whole building's setup is sort of "office-y;" guests were always confused when they came to visit and I walked them down what looked like an office hallway to get to my apartment. All in all, it's not a bad apartment, and for the area you could do a lot worse. While my husband and I were there, they just weren't great apartments. I hope they've done some fixture renovation since we lived there."
